So, recent cruisers (November) please tell me if I'm getting this correctly or not. We are sailing on the Magic on 11/27 and things have changed since our last cruise in August. We are vaccinated and submitted copies to Safe Passage and got the green light from them. We also checked in online and received our PAT and submitted the same headshot pics that we used in August.
What I want to make sure is that we don't need to get swabbed within 3 days of our sail date, correct? We will be tested at the port and again near the end of our cruise because it's 5 nts or longer, correct?
Am I missing anything?

Only kids under 12 do the test 3 days before embarkation. Everyone is swabbed day of embarkation. And only kids under 12 will be swabbed again the day before disembarkation on a 5 night cruise. We will be on that cruise also.

Was you cruise 5 nights with children under 12? Only cruises longer than 4 nights have to test children under 12.

Per Disney website Know Before you Go section it states currently:
Debarkation Day COVID-19 Testing: All unvaccinated Guests on 5-night and longer sailings are required to take a COVID-19 antigen test (paid for by Disney Cruise Line) on the ship the day before debarking.

So if you have unvaccinated children I would be prepared just in case.

Thanks, no children cruising with us. They are grown and working. :cheer2:

Wait, I thought EVERYONE gets tested on the last full day of 5+ nights. Not that I mind it, by that point, our cruise is pretty much over and we need to pack anyway.

So, we should only expect to only be tested at the port before we can board right?
