Double checking on ticket upgrade

from what I read discounted tickets can be upgraded to AP. So before I buy them I just want to double check. I can get buy 2 day get 2 days free tickets from ticketsatwork.com for a total of $240.17 each after tax. Gate price of 4 day ticket is $259.99 before tax & AP Power pass is $259.99 before tax. So I can purchase the discounted ticket & basically just exchange it for power pass?
