I really thought I did a good job checking my receipts before I sign them. well, mostly I do. apparently I don't always really pay attention. went to honeybaked ham yesterday to pick up a small ham, guy said it was $33, I gave him my amex, signed the slip, then took off.
today I was going thru my purse and getting ready to throw out some receipts and such when I happened to glance at my receipt for the ham...he charged me $71!!!!! I was stunned. called and had to drive back to the store with my ham in order to get credited the difference. definitely a wakeup call for me to be more vigilant.
just wanted to give everyone a heads up in case anyone else gets sloppy like me sometimes.

. Sometimes I wonder if some stores do it on purpose knowing good and well we are less likely to return it or come back for our money
. It gets to be a pain and they are not refunding me any gas money either from having to come back. I'm going to start charging them a fee every time I have to go back and get something corrected
