Double check reservations with Enterprise

First time this has happened to us. We rented through Enterprise and wanted to check the reservation times for an upcoming trip. When we entered the corfimation number and name, we received a message there is no reservation on file. We have our printed confirmation, but I'm sure that won't mean anything. If you've booked something with them, you might want to check to make sure it's still effective. This was a bit unsettling!

Of course it means something. It's proof of your reservation. You need to call and straighten this out. Or just make a new reservation if the prices haven't changed.
 
Took your advice and called. They said they cannot locate the confirmation number. They said it could have been a computer problem when we made the reservation. I explained we have a printed confirmation. Thankfully, they did have our second reservation later in the year. I guess I'll have to be more diligent in double checking things.
 
It's ALWAYS worth checking your car rental......the prices change all the time.

I always reserve a car the moment I know my travel dates and times. This way, if the rental costs go up, I'm protected. The good thing.....if the rental costs go DOWN.....I can just rebook and poof...saved $$$.

It's worth taking a peek now and again.
