Double Castaway Cay?

While reading a different post, TheWog stated that the 7-day Western stops at Castaway Cay twice now instead of Key West? True or not? I'd copy the statement if I could figure out how to do it! Thanks.

No mention of it through 2006 on the Disney site. It would make me consider a Western since neither Key West or Cozumel interest me.

I know we are booked on a double stop of CC next July. I think its the third Saturday of the month that is the special cruise. I am not sure when it starts though.

I believe I read somewhere on the boards that the reason there are a few cruises with a double-dip at CC is because of a sailing regatta in Key West. It will not be a regular thing, though. Just selected dates.

In 2006 once a month starting in May and going thru Dec the Magic will be making 2 stops in CC/Cozumel/and Costa Maya....I have 2 of these special itineraries booked!!

For sailings from May to December 2006 Disney is substituting every other Eastern cruise with the "special western" itinerary. It visits Castaway Cay two times, Costa Maya and Cozumel.

So in essence the schedule goes like this

Western
Special Western
Western
Eastern
Western
Special Western
Western
Eastern
etc...

Yes, I am booked on the AUG 19,2006 Double dip at CC.. its a REUNION cruise from Aug 2004 for about 30 families that were lost at sea during HURRICAINE FRANCES for 10 days. We had such a great time a few of us re booked again.
I hope your able to get on one of these cruises.. During our cruise the MAGIC took us to COSTA MAYA to avoid the HURRICAINE...
