So we will be in wdw in Dec, me,dh, dd2.5 and D's 6 months

We are trying to decide what stroller to bring. Dd walks a lot and likes to hop in and out of the buggy, she also gets grouchy when tired and wants to be carried.
Ds is 14 weeks old now and weighs 19lb 8. That's not a typo he is HUGE! 69cm long, already in 9-12 month clothes and size 4 nappies! There is no way we will be able to carry him in our harness,we have a babybjorn one that dd went in but he already fills it and is just going to be too big.

In the day I think I double buggy would be perfect, I can walk holding dd hand if she wants to walkmans not be pushing empty stroller, that's the big positive for me. Negative is how on earth do we manage the buses with a double buggy Daand 2 kids? :confused3 daytime sure did will walk on and off so I can carry ds and hubby have pram but what do we do if they both fall asleep on the bus? Which I am sure will happen. Dd is not one you can wake to walk off, once she's gone she's gone. So we will have 2 kids to carry plus the buggy and any bags etc?

How do others manage this??

Last time we went, our kids had just turned 1, 4, and 6. On the shuttle, the bigger kids walked and I carried the baby in the bjorn. My husband collapsed the double stroller and carried it on and off. We put all of our stuff in backpacks. It worked out great, except for the night that my older two fell dead asleep on the shuttle on the way back and we had to try to get everyone and everything off! ;)

It was pretty easy for us. We have a one backpack rule (everything we bring into then park must fit in one backpack). I take the kids, dh handles the stroller and away we go. Make sure you take time in line to pack the backpack so you don't get to the front and have a full basket to deal with. Have dh head to the back regardless of where you sit. It's twenty minutes a day of inconvenience for eight plus hours of no issues.

I would suggest a better baby carrier that does not have baby hanging and also puts more pressure on you or DH too. Look into an ergonomical carrier. A few out there are ergo, tula, boba, even the eco sash by infantino. Anything that has a pass that goes between the legs that is spread from knee to knee and has baby sitting in a seated position and not just hanging there. That way he can sleep and you or DH can carry and have hands free. I carry my 2.5 yr old DD all the time and on theme park trips we carry our now 5 yr old too. Helps keep track of kids when you have 7 and little ones do get tired and you need free hands to do other things.

Of course bring a double stroller too its not only great for sleeping kids but carrying bags too. :) we rented 2 doubles on our last trip and it was very easy. If the bus was pretty much full and only had standing room we would wait for the next bus which was usually already waiting to pull up. That way we were first on the bus and knew kids would have a seat.

I would also suggest a better carrier- there are many options for bigger children. The last time I wore my daughter she was 4 years old and almost 45 pounds! As for a double buggy, what kind do you have? We traveled to Finland when our children were young and had to get on/off the buses there- we used our double Maclaren and it was a breeze. It folded up nice and small in one quick movement and had a shoulder strap that made it easy to carry. Even the bus driver commented on how easy it was for us to get on/off the bus!
