Double Booking Adr's !!!!

I wonder (and sorry if I just missed this info) if this would have been an issue if you made an ADR as a cash-paying customer? Is it because they are both DDP meals?
Purchasing the DDP or not purchasing it has nothing to do with reference to making ADR's. Guests who purchase the DDP and guests who pay OOP make the same ADR's for the same times which are available, so there is no issue between them.

Nope, it has to do with Disney not having the capacity for all meals - they are always turning people away for meals. So they limit you to one seating per mealtime. You can book lunch and dinner, but booking twice for dinner (even if its the first seating and the last seating) is something they discourage. There are ways around it (booking under two phone numbers), but they will cancel one reservation if they find them both. There are some valid reasons for wanting two reservations during a single meal sitting (the party splitting up is the most common), but they processes in place don't allow for discretion.

When the CM was asking me if I was on the DDP I told her yes but I will be paying OOP for some meals .I want to try alot of restaurants and since I am traveling alone it is not a big deal to pay OOP for the cheaper meals to eat at all the nice restaurants I have choosen. I booked the Fantasmic Package with BD like I always do and she kinda scolded me and said that was a 2 TS meal and I wasn't going to have enough credits with all the signature restaurants I was doing. I told her I was paying OOP for the Fantasmic package.I personally would never use 2 TS credits at BD but it is my 1st choice for the Fantasmic Package I will get a good meal and a seat at Fantasmic. I did feel like telling her I probably knew more about the dining plan than she did but I didn't want her to wipe out my ADR'S.:rotfl:
Thanks again!!!!:)
I just want to add that if Le Cellier and Concourse Steakhouse had the same menu for both lunch and dinner I wouldn't have a problem. Maybe they should have the same menus so that people who want to enjoy a certain entree they would have the option of lunch or dinner.:)
