Dorky Disboutiquing DiserSistas:Destination DisneyTeresajoys(true)version:TheEnd 1/23

I absolutely LOVED your Jasmine outfit!! It's not YOUR fault that the real Jasmine is a shameless little HUSSY who shows her belly to the world. It appears that the CM who was making pajama comments is really a dirty old man who should NOT be allowed within the gates of Disney! I mean REALLY...did he want to see Casey's belly? I should think NOT. She is a child and a modest, beautifully sewn, and beautifully worn Jasmine costume is just PERFECT for her!

SO THERE!!!! YOU MEAN OLD NON MAGIC SHOULD HAVE JOBS AS PRISON CUSTODIANS SO-CALLED castmembers!

*ahem*

Absolutley perfectly put!!!

I'm sorry your experience at the BBB and with that photographer wasn't very good,a dnthat photographer's comments were rude and out of line. I hope things got better quickly!

Uh, and you can read my TR for how I feel about calling little girls who do dress with their bellies hanigng out anything but CUTE. Casey also looked cute. You did a great job :)

I thought I was subbed to this Tr, and I obviouisly screwed up. All caught up now!

And cute kitty!!

The eyes on that kitty are beautiful! If you name him/her Firefox- you can make a young boy happy and nickname the kitty "Foxy"- suits either a girl ir a boy kitty!!

huh? Huh? What do ya say Mom???? (I'm workin' all the angles I can think of for ya Corey!)

You WON!!!

So sad about the cat running away! The new one sure is a cutie! I love kitty's!

Did you guys settle on a name yet?

Yep, we named him Firefox Kitty, or Foxy or Kitty for short! The Kitty part was Lydia's idea!

So, I guess I shouldn't be too disappointed that we didn't do the Tiki Room last time? ;) Love the new kitty! We love kitties at our house. I hope you can settle on a name!
We love kitties too!!!

I'm so sorry that BBB turned out the way it did!! I think disney should have a hotline to report undisney-like CM behavior!! Maybe that will put a little fire in the CMs britches to remember where they are and what their JOB is!!!! And maybe there could be another phone number to report very good CM Experiences!!
I can't wait to hear about 1900 park fare!!!
Off to read Heathers side of the story...

I agree!!! Heather has her 1900 Park Fare all set, so we should have that up soon!

Your pirates drop story is really funny!

We did that to an older couple in Norway on our very first ever trip. We kept getting on that ride over and over and the girls (6&2) were raising their hands at the drop and screaming like it was a roller coaster. Well everyone so far had just giggled at them or joined them and thought it was really cute. The older couple was a different story though. The wife grabbed the husband in complete fear for her life! I felt kind of bad. We may have cost that poor woman a couple of years of her life!

Your trip sounds so great! I love going at the same time as my sister. We don't spend the whole time together like you guys do, but it really is great to have those special memories.

LOL!!! That is funny! And, sounds like something we would do....

Aww..kitty!
Thank you, he is adorable, isnt' he!

Your new kitty is adorable. I am so sorry your other kitty didn't come back.

Last Thursday we had to put our orange tomcat to sleep. He was 17 years old and his Kidney's had failed. He was suffering so we said goodbye.

I think about getting another kitty but we just got that little bunny so I think maybe not.

Looking forward to more trip report.:surfweb:
The girls and I are still hoping that maybe our other kitty will come back, but I doubt it will happen at this point.

I'm so sorry about your cat.

Hey Teresa...I am finally all caught up!!! Love the new installment here. And that new adorable kitty......how cute is she/he?? Did you finalize a name yet?

Thanks Beth!!! I know you are super busy, so I'm glad you had time to come read my report! The kitty is named Foxy, thanks to Karen!

*ahem*

I too hate it when people ask me where to go and try to follow me there...I have ZERO sense of direction...seriously don't know my left from my right. Not a fan of being a line leader. Boss, yes. Line Leader...not so much.

:goodvibes

 to you!!! can't wait for the next installment!!

Aww, you always make me feel better!!! Line Leader Anxiety, I think it's an official phobia now, don't you think?

What a cute kitty!!! Love the eyes!

Hey, you got a new avatar! Are you trying to confuse me!!???!!!

I'm sorry your experience at the BBB and with that photographer wasn't very good,a dnthat photographer's comments were rude and out of line. I hope things got better quickly!

And cute kitty!!

It gets better, thank goodness!! The photographer and his assitant were poo poo heads!

But, he seems to get a kick out of it, and it keeps him from suggesting the Tiki Birds, so we do it.

I like the Pirate Ride, I like it quite a bit!! I've always loved that little dip right before you get into the main part of the ride!!! I told the kids as I always do to hang on tight to get ready for the drop!!!! I love teasing them like that!

However, there was a family sitting behind us who had obviously never been on the ride before. Because, their conversation went something like this,

Is there a drop???

Did you hear what she said?

She said there was a DROP!

I didn't know there was a drop!!!
11.gif

Are we going to get wet??

Should I put my camera away?

I don't want my hair to get wet, is my hair going to get wet???!!!

:scared1: AHHHHHH!!!:scared1:

Then,lots of laughter,
:rotfl2:

but that was from me....:rotfl:

We all get a kick out of the pirate with the dirty leg! It's just a fun ride.

1) I love the Tiki birds. :snooty: I would much rather sit in the air conditioning while the kids are entertained than climb up and down steps in the heat. Really!

2) We did the exact same thing to my mother when they met us for Megan's birthday. Jacob and Tom were merciless, telling her to put her camera away and they would warn her when it time for the BIG DROP. Megan came to her rescue, of course, and told her it was a little drop and she wouldn't even get wet.

3) I love the dirty leg too! And Megan's favorite part is with the hissing cats. She always says, poor kitties, they are scared. Don't be scared kitties!

Look what we got today!

DSCF3918.JPG

Awww, I showed him to Jacob and we both think he is adorable. Foxy is the perfect name for him. Much better than Jacob's suggestion: Tom! :rotfl2:

Love your trip report!

You WON!!!

Really???? Really????:hyper: :hyper: :hyper: What did I win???? :rotfl2:

You gave in??? What a GREAT mom you are!

(I gotta say though- there's something about "Tom" that I like! Maybe he should be Firefox Thomas- and we can nickname him Foxy Tom! Hmmmmmm- seems like someone else on these boards might like that name as well?!?!? However- we cannot shorten that to FT- because the kitty will think we're calling him "fatty"- that wouldn't be good.)

Oh dear, you like the Tiki Birds. Let me think about that one awhile.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Ok, you can still be my friend!

Tom and Jacob teasing your Mom is so funny! Good litlte Megan setting her straight though!

I liked Jacob's ideas for a cat's name too!!! He is sooo sweet!!! (Jacob that is, although the kitty is pretty sweet too!)

Oh, you are making me laugh Karen!!! You are just toooo funny!

And stupid heads as well. ::yes::

I agree!

Hey, Heather said her TR update was done, should I post mine too????

Of course, as soon as we got off the boat, Brian had to look for some fish!

IMG_0259.JPG

I could her him saying, "I KNEW I should have brought my pole!"

You see, Brian ALWAYS brings his fishing pole with us on vacation. He brings it right on the plane as a carry on! When we drive, the poles are always hanging just above the girls heads in their car seats! I've stopped fighting it...I married a fisherman, and that's what he's going to stay!

DSC07948.JPG

DSC07945.JPG

It was so pretty we had to take some pictures!
IMG_0269.JPG

Here is Brian taking a picture

IMG_0262.JPG

Lydia and Tessa were quite excited and happy to be here. They look so adorable holding hands!

DSC07952.JPG

Cameras were everywhere, so we got several angles for yah!

IMG_0265.JPG

IMG_0266.JPG

We were feeling the magic now! None of us really knew WHERE 1900 Park Fare would be located, so we briefly checked a map so conveniently provided by Disney and figured it out.

IMG_0256.JPG

But first, we had to look at a bunny.

DSC07950.JPG

Isn't he cute!!!

We skipped and pranced our way over to 1900 Park Fare

DSC07943.JPG

DSC07944.JPG

and went inside the main lobby of the Grand Floridian

DSC07956.JPG

We were still quite early, so 1900 Park Fare wasn't even open yet.

So, we stood around gawking at the hotel for awhile.

DSC07957.JPG

Brian gawking:

DSC07958.JPG

IMG_0276.JPG

There was a lot to gawk at:

IMG_0278.JPG

it sort of looks like the Titanic!

IMG_0279.JPG

Even the elevators were cool!

IMG_0280.JPG

And, the girls did some fancy dancing for us!

DSC07964.JPG

They got moves, those girls,

DSC07967.JPG

they sure do!

DSC07968.JPG

Sorry Tessa, but that was funny!

Look at Lydia's jump!

SANY0337-1.JPG

I think there was even music.

SANY0344.JPG

Who knew Courtney could play piano so well??

Sawyer did some running amok

DSC07961.JPG

Then, we sat around awhile (we were quite early)

IMG_0273.JPG

How GORGEOUS is Tessa!?

IMG_0274.JPG

Corey and Barbara

IMG_0296.JPG

Brian walked around with the girls for awhile:

IMG_0283.JPG

Arminda and Sawyer entertained themselves by having a pillow fight:

See Sawyer underneath the pillow?

SANY0345.JPG

SANY0346.JPG

SANY0349.JPG

SANY0350.JPG

I decided to head on over to the front desk and ask when the restaurant opened and to make ADRs for Whispering Canyon, for when we ate with Stephanie, Jacob and Megan. I was suppose to have done that before we left home, so I was hoping that no one cough*Heather*cough would follow me and find out I hadn't done this yet!

So, I just sort of off handily mentioned that I was going to the desk to check on our reservations, and did some quick glancing about.

good, no one was following me!

We had eaten at Whispering Canyon the year before, and had loved it. It was a lot of fun. So, I was eager to have Heather and David's families share it with us. I was a little nervous that I wouldn't be able to get ADR's for so many people (18) with so little notice. But, they were easily able to accommodate us, and I could act like I had these ADRs all set up WAAAAY ahead of time!

I then sauntered over to our group to tell them what time 1900 Park Fare would be opening, and no one was the wiser!

Mom had most of the kids with her, watching some cartoons. They were all enjoying themselves.

SANY0355.JPG

DSC07976.JPG

I then noticed people lining up at the door of the restaurant, so we herded our crew on over there.

IMG_0300.JPG

I was excited!!!!

It was a line, and I don't remember anything interesting happening, so let's just transport ourselves right on into the restaurant.

Ready?

Ok, hang on, here we go!

1.gif

Everybody make it ok??

Good, now where was I?? Oh yes, we are getting to some WICKEDNESS!!! Oh boy oh boy!!!

They sat our group down in a loverly corner. We took up a lot of room! I think we had three tables.

IMG_0301.JPG

I then realized that I had forgotten the autograph books in the stroller, so I went out to where they had us leave them, in the entryway. But!

They were gone!!!

I looked around trying to figure out where in the world the strollers could be!

After awhile, a guest spotted me looking about, and said, "Stroller?"

to which I replied, "Yes, I know I left it right here."

And he told me, "They put them all outside." and pointed to a side door.

I thanked him and hightailed it outside to grab the autograph books.

When I got back inside, I was told that they had already taken the drink orders.

And

NO ONE (and by NO ONE, I mean Brian) thought to order me anything!

hmmph!

That is the thanks I get for running about trying to help out!

So, then I had to run about trying to get my drink order placed!

I was hungry, so we went up to get some food!

IMG_0337.JPG

Sorry, that's the only picture of food that I could find! I didn't start with this though, goodness no! I saved that for my second trip to the buffet!

YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY FOOD!!!!

This is without a doubt the BEST character meal out there, as far as food goes!!!

There was SOOOO much, I just didn't know where to start!!

Then I spied me some Strawberry Soup!!! Oh my goodness, that was GOOD!!!

We were so busy stuffing ourselves that we almost forgot that there were going to be characters at this meal! We all agreed that everything was fantastic!!!

Then, we spotted PRINCE CHARMING coming our way!!! Oh boy oh boy!!

Since we were fairly packed into the corner, Princey suggested we move to a more open spot of the room.

He signded the autograph books

DSC07986.JPG

Lydia was just about beside herself meeting Prince Charming!!! She was totally in love!!! He was awfully cute!! (although, he looks like he's about 15!)

IMG_0310-1.JPG

Look at this face!!!

IMG_0311-1.JPG

and then, we had him take some pictures with Sawyer.

Let me tell you, Sawyer was SOOOOO excited to be meeting Prince Charming!!!

Just look at this face!!

DSC07989.JPG

isn't that like the BEST picture EVER!!! LOL!!! I about died laughing when I saw this picture!

Then, we got some pictures with the girls:

DSC07991.JPG

See how Lydia is posing in this!

THEN Princey gave us a wave like he was just going to go!

Silly boy.

Silly silly boy.

I told Prince that I wanted my picture taken with him, then when I had him in my grips,

DSC07992.JPG

See Lydia there? She just kept trying to get close to the Prince!! It was just so cute!

I called to my Mom, Heather and Barbara, "Don't you guys want your picture taken with the Prince?" So, we all gathered around to get our picture.

IMG_0324.JPG

The poor Prince seemed a bit nervous, but we did get our pictures, and then I let him go.

Next up was Cinderella

IMG_0325.JPG

I'm not purposely trying to show Cinderella's behind, I wanted you to see how excited the girls were!

She seemed a bit confused that we were sitting at two groups of tables. She first went to the table with my Mom and Dad, and then to the table next to us. So, it got a bit jumbled up. When she came back around, we got some pictures of her.

DSC07996.JPG

DSC07997.JPG

DSC08001.JPG

Here she is with Tessa, it was pretty crowded in the corner, so it was hard to get good pictures:

DSC08002.JPG

And with Arminda

DSC08004.JPG

IMG_0335.JPG

She didn't realize that Arminda was wearing her dress, until Arminda told her that she was.

Some group pictures:

IMG_0334.JPG

DSC08003.JPG

Look at Casey's face!

I love the way Lydia looks when she is really excited!!!

IMG_0334.JPG

She was a nice Cinderella, but as my brother said, "She didn't have much charisma."

Next up The Fairy Godmother

Honestly, I had completely forgotten that she was even at this meal, until the girls reminded me later! She was not in the best form this day. She was ok, but lacked a little something. But, that was ok, we really came her to see some stepsisters!

IMG_0343.JPG

IMG_0345.JPG

Lydia was pretty nervous,

DSC08006.JPG

But, she soon got over it

DSC08007.JPG

IMG_0346.JPG

Lydia is always quite impressed with Tessa's antics!

DSC08008.JPG

It was about this time, that the stepsisters and all the characters came out and they did a little parade around the restaurant. I think they said something about celebrating birthdays, I didn't really catch it. Arminda went up and joined in the little procession.

DSC08009.JPG

She was grinning from ear to ear! Things were starting to liven up, with the addition of the stepsisters!!!

IMG_0349.JPG

While we waited for the stepsister to come around to our table, we refilled our plates with more yummy goodness!! And, our waiter came out with birthday tiaras and place mats for both Arminda, who was turning 10 and Courtney, who was turning 14 within the week. They were both pretty happy with that, and put the crowns on right away!

Then, along came Anastasia!

IMG_0351.JPG

See how excited Casey is to meet her!

Oh what fun was she!!! She was loud and obnoxious and wonderful!!!

Lydia hadn't grinned so big since the Prince!

IMG_0353.JPG

me either

DSC08010.JPG

She made some comments on Arminda and Tessa's Cinderella dresses.

The girls were loving it. She even called Drizella over so that she could see Tessa's Pink Mice Made dress!

IMG_0354.JPG

They were trying to figure out if those were their beads or not!

IMG_0355.JPG

They decided they were not

IMG_0356.JPG

Then, she signed some autographs and posed for some pictures. She gave us a lot of attention. She must know that if you pay for 15 people, you get 15 people's worth of attention! Really, if she knows that, how wicked can she be???

The girls eyes were just sparking to be around such a character!!! And, if you see the pictures, us adults were pretty excited too!
IMG_0358.JPG

Drizella jumped in for a picture too!

IMG_0361.JPG

I just love the way she poses! The girls were just loving it, and so was I!!!

IMG_0362.JPG

DSC08017.JPG

See how Courtney tries to protect her little sister!

IMG_0363.JPG

Now THIS is what we had paid for!!! I get really happy just thinking about it now!

Drizella came over and signed autographs, and commented on Tessa's dress,

DSC08022.JPG

and posed for some pictures:

IMG_0374.JPG

and then!

DSC08023.JPG

She spotted SAWYER!!!!!

I think she was in LOOOVE with Sawyer!!!

She exclaimed over him and tried to kiss him!

DSC08024.JPG

She asked Heather what his name was, and then used it, LOUDLY and FREQUENTLY!!

DSC08025.JPG

It was great!!!

She would go on one side of Sawyer to try to kiss him,

DSC08026.JPG

and he would look down and start concentrating on his food.

IMG_0368.JPG

When he thought she was gone, he'd look back up again to see where she was!

IMG_0369.JPG

Then, he'd concentrate on that food again when he spotted her!

DSC08027.JPG

It was just the funniest, cutest thing!!! You could tell that Sawyer really liked the attention!

"SAAAAAWYYYYER!!!!! SAAAAAAAAWYYYYYYYYWER!!!! "

We were all just about rolling on the floor!!!

Even when she went to the next tables, she would say, "SAAAAWYER! I'm coming BAAAAACK for you SAAAAWYER!!!" and Sawyer would quickly concentrate on his food again!!!

It's so hard to describe this experience, because it was just SOOO fun!! We were all laughing and smiling and enjoying ourselves!

IMG_0383.JPG

It was wonderful to be together with my whole family having fun! And, with that line, I am making myself all teary eyed happy!

IMG_0378.JPG

We all agreed that we would come back to this restaurant JUST to see the stepsisters!!! They were so animated, and sooo IN character!!! It was just great!

We were all done eating, so it was time to go. I was just glad that Arminda had stayed so clean:

IMG_0382.JPG

*ahem*

We went outside to pick up the strollers, and the girls spotted this Mary Poppins topiary!

IMG_0386.JPG

Remember when Disney had topiaries all over? I miss them!

IMG_0387.JPG

It was about this time that Heather and Henry decided that they needed to get going. The rest of us were going to hop on the monorail and go back to the Magic Kingdom.

Only thing is, we couldn't figure out WHERE the monorail was! We looked around a bit, and then went outside to look around.

We spotted this guy

IMG_0405.JPG

and he told us to go to the second floor to get on.

The guys had taken off, so we said good bye to Heather. We had already decided that we would be going to Epcot the next day, so we decided to go to Beaches and Cream sometime in the afternoon. I made blouses and skirts for all the girls out of ice cream fabric, and Heather had appliqued ice cream cones or ice cream floats on EVERY one of them!

We discovered that the guys were outside looking at the old cars,

SANY0408.JPG

SANY0409.JPG

so we stood around and chatted with this guy some more

IMG_0405.JPG

Then! We spotted this!

SANY0411.JPG

We girls decided it looked JUST like the carriage from Enchanted from Central Park!

So, Lydia got inside and started singing,

"How Does she Know!!!"

SANY0401.JPG

It was a lot of fun!!

SANY0416.JPG

IMG_0404.JPG

We then decided we better head on over to the Magic Kingdom, but first, Potty Time!

Look at Casey checking herself out in the mirror!!!

SANY0419.JPG

And, don't Arminda and Courtney look adorable!!! Everyone was having such a fun time!

SANY0421.JPG

While we were waiting for everyone, the girls had some fun posing on the stairs

SANY0422.JPG

Then, Mom had a stroke of genius!!!!!

SANY0424.JPG

How PERFECT is that shot!!!

It's Cinderella running out of the ball! She has even lost one of her shoes!

We were all laughing and relaxed and enjoying it! Ahh, this is the Disney magic!!!

Once we got to the second floor, we spotted a little gift shop, with a

GIANT

HUMONGOUS!

PIN TRADING BOARD!!!!!

There were some super cool pins on it too!!!

Corey had not brought his pins in, so he talked Arminda into trading a few for him!

I'm not sure if I mentioned it before or not, but we had given Courtney, Casey and Tessa a few pins to trade with when we got to Florida. So, Courtney and Casey made their first pin trade! Corey looked at me with such a look of pride on his face, I wish I had gotten a picture!

Casey found an adorable, big and soft stuffed Pluto, and used her gift card from Grandma to buy it.

Lydia found a baby Marie, and bought it, and Barbara bought a really cool Tinker Bell mug. Arminda looked around for a baby Nala, but she couldn't find one.

After our fun pit stop in the gift shop, we were on our way back to Disney!

Here we are in the monorail

Courtney is being very considerate, and not taking up a seat, so that other people can sit down.

SANY0425.JPG

David and Barbara

SANY0427.JPG

and, then we are there!!!

SANY0430.JPG

People kept trying to pose in front of us by these topiaries, which when it was crowded made things a bit difficult! I mean, yes they are very cool and all, but do you really expect everyone to stop at the entrance to DISNEY so you can take a pictures with some shrubbery???

But, if it's not crowded, I say go for it!

First stop, bathroom! The girls decided to look at a map to see where we should go.

IMG_0417.JPG

Lydia had really wanted to go on Splash Mountain when we were there in the morning, but we hadn't had time. So, we headed over that way to see how the line was. It was pretty long, about 30 minutes.

That did NOT go over well with Lydia!

So, we bribed her with promises of doing it the next day we'd be there, and then hopping onto Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!! Fun fun fun! The wait for this was a little longer than I like (meaning over 5 minutes!) but it wasn't too bad, and it wasn't TOO terribly hot! As we approached the trains, everyone paired up. Mom with Barbara, Brian with Lydia, Dad with Corey, David with Courtney, Arminda with Casey. Which left, you guessed it, little old me, to ride all alone, all by myself, with nobody by me.

*sniff*sniff*

I didn't mind, no not me, I didn't mind at all.

*sniff*sniff*

It's really NOT as fun alone....

*sniff*sniff*

So, we went over to see how long the wait was for Splash Mountain, JUST as they changed the wait time to

SIXTY MINUTES!

UGGH! It looked like that would have to wait for another day!

Everyone decided that it would be fun to go on the Pirate Ride, so we headed on over that way again

We had already been on it, but it's always fun to do things again with your family! The girls were excited to be going on rides together! The wait said 30 minutes, but it was about 5. Yippee! Because as you know, I don't do lines!

IMG_0418.JPG

We wants the red head!

IMG_0419.JPG

IMG_0421.JPG

I know you all know what the Pirate Ride looks like, but I'm going to share more pictures, anyway, for I fear this whole installment is a bit boring, and maybe some Johnny Dep pictures will liven it up a bit!

IMG_0422.JPG

IMG_0423.JPG

IMG_0424.JPG

When we got off the Pirate Ride, we had to look through the gift shop, where I broke up a sword fight between my princess girls!! How unladylike! This gift shop gets my family every time! Brian has to look at stuff, the girls have to sword fight, Corey looks at stuff, and I'm the ONLY voice of reason reminding them all that this is a GIFT SHOP!!!

NOT a ride,

so let's shake a tail feather and go do something fun!

Something that we couldn't do at the mall!

It was getting dark out, and the park was nearing closing time, so we figured we had time for one more ride or so. We decided to go on a REAL adventure, an adventure through a dangerous jungle!!! We wanted elephants, head hunters, dumb jokes, and above all! We wanted to know what the backside of water looked like!

Let's go on the Jungle Cruise!!!! Woo hoo!!!!

Now, this sign said 45 minutes, but since nothing had been quite as long as the signs said, we figured it probably wouldn't be too long.

We

were

WRONG!!!!

REALLY

REALLY

REALLY

WRONG!!!!

It was a LOOOONG line!!!

But, as luck would have it, the CMs must have known that I was about to have a hissy fit after 30 minutes, so they had us play "If you are happy and you know it, stomp your feet". So, I got to stomp, and no one was the wiser! hehehehe They actually played that twice, we were in line sooooo long!!!

and now, for your viewing pleasure, line pictures:

SANY0434.JPG

SANY0436.JPG

SANY0437.JPG

Lydia appears to be enjoying herself!

SANY0438.JPG

We scored ourselves a descent skipper and set out into the wild jungle!!!

I don't recall ever doing this ride at night before, and let me tell you, it's a LITTLE (and by little, I mean a lot!) bit creepy in the dark!!!

It reminds me of my first trip to Disney when I was 2. Remember when they use to sop the boat in the tunnel, and turn out the lights and act like you weren't going to make it out? I believed them. I was PETRIFIED! Absolutely PETRIFIED!!! I think I even tried to crawl under the seat! I hated it for YEARS! Then, when they stopped doing that, I was sort of disappointed and missed it.

Until now,

Now, I remember why it was so scary!!!

Anything could be out there in the dark!

CREEEEEPY!!!

But fun!

When we got of, we all agreed that it was a much different experience at night!

We stopped and let the girls play with the little boats for awhile. We didn't give them any money, but they had fun anyway!!!

On the way out, we were stopped in our path by the electrical parade. Which, was probably pretty cool, if I had not been completely exhausted! It was a loooong day!!!

Corey took some psychedelic looking pictures

And finally we boarded the monorail and got on the tram back to our vans! Exhausted but happy!

And, for some reason, I thought I would make some stupid faces at the camera.

Of course, even odder than me making strange faces at the camera is me actually posting them on the Internet for everyone to see.

I don't know who took these pictures!

We were soon back to our vans, and driving home. The girls were asleep before we pulled out of the one and only exit.

And, thankfully stayed that way until the next morning!

I fell into bed too, as did everyone else! It had been a great day!!!

Let me tell you, Sawyer was SOOOOO excited to be meeting Prince Charming!!!

Just look at this face!!

isn't that like the BEST picture EVER!!! LOL!!! I about died laughing when I saw this picture!

I told Prince that I wanted my picture taken with him, then when I had him in my grips,

I called to my Mom, Heather and Barbara, "Don't you guys want your picture taken with the Prince?" So, we all gathered around to get our picture.

See Lydia there? She just kept trying to get close to the Prince!! It was just so cute!

The poor Prince seemed a bit nervous, but we did get our pictures, and then I let him go.
:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: Sorry Heather but I am just about wetting myself that picture is SOOOO GREAT!!!
You guys look super cute with the Young prince!! I agree he does look very young! And that Dessert!!! Don't you just love the fancy Disney desserts!! They are so yummy!!

Even the elevators were cool!

Is it just me or does the elevator look like a BIG birdy cage? :confused3 A very elegant beautiful bird cage?!?!

It looks very beautiful there I am definitely adding 1900 ADRs to our must do list for our next trip!

Arminda looks adorable recreating the cinderella scene! How fun!! What a great afternoon and evening you all had!! I was going to say day but thought I better change it! :( You know I was going to sew again tonight, but then you posted your update and then I decided I must read that instead! I am far to tired to sew now. I guess there is always tomorrow! ::yes::
I have only been on the jungle cruise once and it was during the day. I didn't even know they had it open after dark! And when I first read this line-"Remember when they use to sop the boat in the tunnel, and turn out the lights and act like you weren't going to make it out?" I thought you were saying something about making out :love2: :confused3 Then I reread it. All those poor children who thought they were going to die at WDW. Meanies!! Well I'm glad you made it out alive!!
mmmmmm Ice Cream! Sounds yummy too!

Great installment! Loved all the pictures of the girls! They looked right at home in that elegant hotel!

The stepsisiters really make that meal. We ate there on our last trip, and I never laughed so hard. There was a birthday at the next table, and to hear the stepsisters sing in their most off tune and loud voices made me tear up with laughter! We will definitely be going back there again!

Poor Sawyer! Can't a guy get a little peace and quiet while he's eating?;)

I think this was the best installment yet! Ok Not this trip but the NEXT trip(hopefully Feb!) we have to go to 1900 Park Fare!

I think Lydia has a little crush on the handsome prince!:rotfl: She was adorable in those pictures! The step sisters with Sawyer! OMG how cute! It reminds me of how Mulan was with my son when we went went when he was 20 months. He had big red lip prints on his check for half the day!

I am so happy the rest of the day turned out better then the BBB!

When they have bday do they always give the girls tiaras? Or is it just some places? Nikki's day is less then 2 weeks before we go and I was thinking about letting her have a bday day there.

Love your trip report! Finally caught up! Little Sawyer was so cute at dinner. Ilove the way he kept looking at his food! The girls looked like they had a great time at dinner. I didn't know they had all those characters there...might have to add it to our itinerary.

Love your comment on Swiss Family Treehouse. It is exactly how dh feels...you go up. then down. and it is still the same.

Tiki birds! We did go see it 2 years ago and realized it had changed since I was a kid. We only go there now if it is really hot and we need some cooling off! although it might be a little better than 4 days of polly pockets....a little!

Can't wait for your next update!

Thanks! I though Mom was pretty clever suggesting Arminda do the Cinderella scene!

Oh, you need to do the Jungle Cruise at night! It's weird!
yes, poor little 2 year old Teresa thought she was going to die in the dark tunnel of the Jungle Cruise! I remember it clearly! So does my Mom!

Great installment! Loved all the pictures of the girls! They looked right at home in that elegant hotel!

The stepsister are fantastic, aren't they!!! Next time, I wuold like to make Lydia an Anastasia dress, I think that would be a lot of fun!!! Now, to talk Arminda into Drizella!

Isn't Sawyer funny! :lmao:

Thanks!! I was afraid it was terribly boring!

This is the only meal we've had where Arminda got a tiara for her b'day.

We all had so much fun, I'm glad the day ended on such a fun note!

Anna, I lost your quote!!! yes, that does look like a giant fancy bird cage!!! I thought the same thing!

Great installment! Love the pictures from 1900 Park Faire. We've never eaten there but I definitely want to go now!

BTW, I commented on your experience from BBB but I have to tell you a story about this morning. While I was reading your TR, Parker climbed up in my lap and was looking at the pictures. The group shot of all the little girls got Parker talking about everything Disney. She started going through the line of who everyone was dresssed up like. Without even hesitating, when she got to Casey, she said "Hey, she's dressed just like Jasmine!" and then Michael came over to look too and he said "yes Parker, she is dressed like Jasmine but she is not the real one." So, boo on the man that didn't know who she was and then saying she was in her pajamas. If you have Disney magic, you know who they are!!!

I loved your update! I know some people don't like the GF, but I love that hotel! It has a special place in my memories. I can't believe we have never even thought to eat at 1900 park faire! I totally need to go back to Disneyworld just for this reason!! I love the stepsisters! Those pictures with Sawyer were hilarious and I loved seeing Lydia's face all lit up and joyful!! And that pic with Luke's Tessa with her finger up her nose? :rotfl2:
