Sawyer trying to clean up Arizona!!! That is too funny!!!
Food is love!!!
Poor poor Polly Pockets.
Isn't that the Millenium Falcom??
You were too kind about how late we were!
I love the picture of Tessa and Lydia "reunited"!
Oh, that is a loverly picture you have of me with something stuffed in my mouth!Shel was pretty interesting though!
WOW I had forgotten how long (and stringy!) Arminda's hair was! You should see it now Heather!
"not the frankel!"" Had me snort laughing so loud, Corey came over to check on me!

It didn't seem like we were talking to Cindee that long! Time just flew!
Aww, what a sweetie pie Tessa is, buying all those gifts!
I would love to see the Woody's Roundup show!! How sweet!

Yep, David is actually quite enjoyable and funny!

No, "different" doesn't quite cut it for Aunt Mildred!

So sweet of you to leave us dreaming of beautiful statuary!!!

I'm so glad that you and David had some special time together!

Ok, so I read your TR without posting mine, but it is all written! I just need the pictures off the other computer and Corey has hijacked it!

I think this post may be targeted by the punctuation police for the overuse of the exclamation point!

I don't know what this thing is called, but I'm sure one of you Star Wars geeks can enlighten me. What is it, Jham? :rotfl:

It is the Millennium Falcon. You know - only the ship that helped destroy the Death Star, saved Luke after his battle with Vader, you know nothing at all signifcant in the Star Wars universe. ;) Darn it! - I think I just outted myself as a Star Wars geek (I also love ST:TNG but I doubt you know what that stands for so my secret is safe!)

Poor Henry - shopping and a bunch of DISers chatting in one day probably not his idea of fun.

All of the outfits in both of your tr's have been great! It makes me wish I could sew but I have my hands full just trying to finish scrapbooking our trip.

I love that Tessa bought lots of gifts with her money - what a sweetie!

So did your parents give Aunt Mildred any money?

Yup Millennium Falcon:chewy: :darth: :yoda: Another Star Wars nerd here. LOL Kyle LOVES Star Wars too! In our house it is the Star Wars channel all the time.:scared1

The outfits came out so great!
How fun you got to meet ANOTHER Diser!
I have said it before ad I will say it again Henry and George would get along. I have seen George with that same look on his face. The only difference is George would ahve said go meet your friend and I will be at the golf course or some where else:rolleyes: George isn't real social:confused3

How sweet Tessa bought those gifts for every one. Kyle has that Woody! Doesn't it melt your heart when kids do sweet stuff like that? When Kyle went to WDW with his Aunties back in March I made a casual comment so what are you going to bring back mommy from your trip? Never in a million yrs did I think he would do it! He bought me a stuffed Tigger. I think I cried when he handed it to me! Yeah I am a sap like that.
I sure hope next report we find out what was the matter with Casey. Poor girl.

Great trip report!

Love, love, LOVE (did I mention I love it?) the Ariel dress!!!

HOW do you get ONE pillow case???

We have an Ariel sheet set, but Princess K would FREAK if we took away her pillow case.

Love it!

If you ever have any Star Wars questions, not to mention bug identification questions, you just have to email or call The Chef. He is here to solve all of your mysteries! By the way, he tells me that's General Grievous attacking the Mil. Falcon. And he also says "OH, COOL!" LOL

Poor Casey. Having gone the route of being sick at WDW, we prefer to avoid it also.

If a relative called us at WDW to ask for $ for a car...

The statuary sounds lovely. There seems to be an inordinate amount of lawn ornamentation around these here parts. We've always said we were going to get that ginormous cement lion that is displayed on the highway north of here. We thought the gigantic cement pig would be to over the top.

Ooooo - I was just watching ST-TNG last night! :woohoo:
It was the one where they went to CA in the 19th century. I had forgotten about that one. :thumbsup2

Keep up the good work Heather.

Great update!! I too love DTD!! I am sorry to hear that Casey was still sick!!! I love seeing the DisMeets!! That was super of Tessa to buy stuff for Sawyer, Casey and you!! She is such a sweetie!! Loved the story of the statue!!! LOL
The poor little thing, she was miserable!

Tessa is such a thoughtful little girl!

I just spent a good 10 minutes looking for that police car smiley you posted once. But, I couldn't find the punctuation police anywhere.

Yes, Sawyer was pretty disturbed by all the dirt in Arizona. I'm pretty sure he thought there had to be grass under there somewhere.

I can't see you catching "Woody's Roundup" anytime soon.

I thought that picture of us listening to Shel was pretty funny. We all look totally captivating by his storytelling finesse!

What did you do to Arminda's hair??

I thought you'd appreciate the frankel comment.

It is the Millennium Falcon. That first paragraph- :confused3 I know, it's shameful that I know next to nothing about Star Wars. I'm going to take a guess and say that ST:TNG= Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Yes, my parents did give my aunt Mildred money. They didn't buy the whole thing, but they helped her with registering it and I think they paid for a little bit of the car itself. Then, she called a few weeks later and needed money to FIX the car!

Yup Millennium Falcon:chewy: :darth: :yoda: Another Star Wars nerd here. LOL Kyle LOVES Star Wars too! In our house it is the Star Wars channel all the time.:scared1

Great trip report!

I knew my Star Wars geeks would look out for me!

Henry can be social, but I think he was feeling a little ignored by us! Poor baby! He did take off for a while with Sawyer. I forgot to mention that Sawyer had a meltdown at McDonald's. So, Henry walked him around for a while.

Tessa would have spent all of her money on everyone else! Teresa's kids are the same way. I couldn't believe she wanted to buy me something for Mother's Day. I didn't even know she knew it was almost MD!

Yes, we'll find out what was wrong with poor little Casey. :sad2:

Love, love, LOVE (did I mention I love it?) the Ariel dress!!!

:rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: I got to the part about buying the giant cement lion and I had to stop because I was laughing too hard!! I've often wondered what kind of house it would take to be able to pull that thing off! I'm thinking we should get the pig, seeing as how Henry is a police officer!! :rotfl2:

Okay, now I'll go back to the top. They sell just pillowcases at WalMart, Target, Kmart, etc... I bought just the pillowcase because the "big face" character dresses were all the rage over on the disboutique board late last year!

I will remember The Chef if I have further Star Wars or bug issues. :thumbsup2

It is not at all unusual for Aunt Mildred to call and ask for money. I think this is the first time she got to ask while we were on vacation, though! She is mentally handicapped and dirt poor. Her sons could work, but they just live at her house and eat her food and watch pay per view movies and smoke. I suggested that dad give her one of his bikes, but I don't think Aunt Mildred liked that idea. That's another thing David and I were giggling about. We were picturing Aunt Mildred and Bernard peddaling down the road on a bicycle built for two. Only Teresa will fully appreciate that mental image! Oh, yeah, the "boys" also talk on their cell phones because all 3 of them have cell phones! Yes, that's really needed when you don't even have a JOB!!

*I loved the update! Looks like you all had such a fun Dismeet! :goodvibes The outfits were just adorable!
* I somehow know what you mean about vacumming up Poly's and poor Barbie shoes.
* Tessa is just too cute.....and so very generous with her spending money.:lovestruc
*DTD is the best....I didn't get much time there last visit...but for the Feb Dismeet, I hope to spend at least a few hours perusing around there! :thumbsup2
* I sure hope Casey feels better soon...poor thing
* And the statue/send money thing was hilarious :rotfl2:

(I also love ST:TNG but I doubt you know what that stands for so my secret is safe!)

I do! I do! But only because my sister is a sci-fi geek. Oh, I see Heather has already figured it out.

Megan yelled, the Megan! They are doing the Megan! She also said she would like to meet Morgan next time and go to Downtown Disney.

Oh, and she loved that Tessa bought Sawyer a Woody doll. She said, he can even sleep with it. So I told her that in fact, he does!

First of all, the frankel is worn in the mouth and not on your head!

Look at Corey; he looks just like you!

I want to see Woody's Roundup!

I am jealous you got to meet Morgan; it looks like you had a great time! She really does look like an angel child.

Megan wanted Tessa to see her pins. She keeps them on her hat so she doesn't lose them. Guess who gets to carry the hat when her head is too hot?

Why yes, that is chocolate chip cookie on her face. And it is 10am and we are still in our pjs, what of it?

I am so worried about Casey! You'd better update us quickly!

The girls are adorable!
Poor Casey :(
I love how all the kids enjoyed the DIS meets.

Sorry, but those "everybody's sick" pictures are kind of funny. One year my BIL's parents came to town for the holidays as did my in-laws, my BIL's father had the flu and made everyone else in both sides of the family sick. No one has liked him much since then :confused3 It's known as the year of Cruz's flu  Now didn't I warn you about posting chocolate chip cookie photos again? Thanks for the repost of Tessa's boxing picture. Luke just said to me he wants to keep that picture "for a kajillion years". I could spend a LOT of time shopping at DTD...maybe we should ditch my DH and the kids at our Feb meet and do some shoppin'! :rotfl: Uhm, hello, that would be the Millenium Falcon :snooty: Pictures of Cindee and Morgan!   I always wondered what Cindee looked like! I love the hidden Jord peeking out of the backpack. Your mom is so good to go along on your Dismeets! Tessa is so sweet to buy Sawyer a toy with her own money! And something for Mom and Casey  That is something Luke would do too (but not my other kids). That statue sounds hilarious! (at least the way you describe it :rotfl2: )

We all got along really well!

It seems like no matter how many Polly shoes I vacuum up, there are always more!

I can't wait to meet you in Feb.!!! Warning: You will be hugged!

I'm picturing the frankel as that thing the girl in Sixteen Candles had to wear, along with the neck brace. Sorry!! A girl on my bus had to wear head gear. I always felt really sorry for her.

I must be very handsome!

I love that Megan!!! She is such a sweetie! Tessa is very impressed with her pin collection. Now she wants to move her pins to her ice cream cone hat. Thanks! :thumbsup2

The girls are adorable!
Poor Casey :(
I love how all the kids enjoyed the DIS meets.
Thank you! I've yet to meet a Diser I didn't like in person! Oh wait, I was snubbed by a Diser at the Pop buses back in '06. :snooty:

I thought the "everybody's sick" pictures were pretty funny, too! At the time, not so much!

Luke is so sweet! How long is kajillion years? Yesterday Tessa told me that she loves Luke 208%! That's quite a lot for never having met him! :lmao:

You should Todally (;) )ditch everybody and go shopping with me!!

I knew you would know what that thing was! :thumbsup2 I know my brother had/has the huge toy of that thing.

My mom is pretty wonderful, isn't she? She liked meeting these strangers! So did my dad! I thought it was cool getting to see Cindee, too. I just realized that she might not like me posting all those pictures.

I haven't actually seen the statue, but I can imagine it's beauty.:cloud9:

Oh HeatherSue...you had me laughing out loud...a BUNCH!!

the "sick" pictures were sadly hilarious. Everyone looks WIPED OUT. Your BIL was it? Next to you on the couch...he looks like he's fixin to heave in a second or two. Y'all just looked ILL.

Poor Casey...I do hope she's okay...you said fever and lower abdomen pain and I'm thinking "Appendicitis"!!!:scared1:

:rotfl2: :lmao: Henry's got a FANNY CLUB?!:lmao: :rotfl2: loves it!

How FUN that y'all got to meet up with that ADORABLE little Morgan and her mama!!! I love love love her dress!!!

Tessa's Ariel dress is FABULOUS!!!

I think it's SO great that you've managed to raise such KIND children. How SWEET of Tessa to use her own money to buy a Woody Doll for her little brother. Kindness is often lacking in children today...all y'all (teresa's bunch too) have managed to raise such great, happy, confident, loving children. It's AWESOME to see!

YAY, can't wait to hear about Mother's day!!!

and poor Casey!!

:goodvibes

OHH...and Sally happened to catch the picture of the girls all sitting on the floor...she very quietly asked if that was a McDonald's...I told her it was...she suddenly SHRIEKED in my ear...

"WHY ARE THEY SITTING ON THE FLOOR?! DOES THEIR MOM HAVE LYSOL?!":rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

poor sally...she is SUCH a germophobe..I don't know WHERE she gets it...

*ahem*

:flower3:

Oh and one more thing...when you made the comment about Fingerhut:rotfl2: Whenever my sisters and I wanted to extremely insult something we'd say it looks like it came from Fingerhut!:lmao:

that was just to dang funny...:rotfl:

Heather love the DTD update. How sweet is Tessa that she bought everyone gifts? Too cute. My DS7 would do that for his brother too. I love those Woody and Buzz's are so cute, those would be a big hit at my house. Hope Casey feels better soon poor baby. On the pillowcase dress is that easy? Which pattern do you specifically use? I would also love the link to the easy applique unless it's in your bookmarks I could look there. I have seen many pillowcase dresses in the boutique bookmarks but was wondering what you would consider the easiest. Thanks for the info in advance.

Just found your and yours sisters reports recently and have enjoyed reading them both so far! :goodvibes

The bit about the stepsisters and Sawyer had me cracking up out loud so much that my DH had to come see.

ALL the outfits are amazing!!!!!!!!

I think Jeremy (my BIL) did get sick right after that picture was taken! He thought his Code Red Mountain Dew would help, but it did not.

No, it wasn't appendicitis, but we were worried that's what it was, too!

Tessa isn't always so generous! She gave her stuffed Nemo/ball thing to my friend's little girl a while back. That night she came into my room in the middle of the night, crying "I want my Nemo ball back!" Needless to say, I did not ask my friend to give the ball back. But, Tessa still gets upset about it!

Sorry Sally, I did not have Lysol! I have to admit I was grossing out over them sitting on the floor, too!

My Aunt Mildred bought me a towel set from Fingerhut for my wedding. They were peach with a southwest design. It was such a sweet gesture, but they were pretty darn ugly, and thin as paper!

Heather love the DTD update. How sweet is Tessa that she bought everyone gifts? Too cute. My DS7 would do that for his brother too. Here's a link to my applique tutorial. It's also in the bookmarks, in case you lose it!

http://disboutique.blogspot.com/2008/04/bestest-applique-tutorial.html

I used McCall's 5088, style D. But, I rounded the neckline and made it a little higher. I also shirred the back because it was REALLY loose.

I cut Ariel off the pillowcase and appliqued her onto the dress. So, it's not made out of the pillowcase like a "pillowcase dress" is. I've never made a pillowcase dress, so I'm not sure which one is the easiest.

I'm glad you're ejoying my TR! Thanks so much for posting!! :cloud9:

I hope Casey wasn't really really sick! Poor baby. I also know just what you mean about worrying that everyone else will get sick. We just dealt with the stomach bug from HE LL around here. It was fast, but deadly and had no mercy. Everyone from the kids to my visiting mother to DH (while away on a BUSINESS TRIP! ) yes, and even me, got SO sick. Thankfully, we are all better now, and the illness managed to work itself between our important events - Julia's "Annie" show, Emma's 3rd birthday - so luckily, it didn't ruin any special plans.

I just have to ask, how do you go into The World of Disney for a FEW MINUTES?! :confused3  There is no way we would be in and out that fast! :sad2: I need at least an hour, preferably two!

She was pretty sick, but not "put her in the hospital" sick, thankfully.

That stomach bug sounds just like the one we all had in Arizona! I forgot to mention that Henry's mom is an ER nurse and her husband is an ER doctor. They were pretty smug that they weren't getting sick because they had resistance to everything. But, they were both sick on the last day!

If you were shopping with a grumpy, tired, 2 year old, you'd probably only spend a few minutes at World of Disney, too! ;) If it were just me, I would have spent HOURS! I went back another day, though!

I love your shopping smiley!

Hey Heather- sounds like maybe we should make spending some time at DTD an event for our Dismeet! What do ya think??? Have you been to the Christmas store at DTD at all??? Could be FUN!

I've never been to the Christmas store at DTD! I'd LOVE to do a shopping event for us all!!! That would be so much fun!

Well then my friend.. we shall plan it! Maybe do dinner somewhere in DTD, then spend the evening walking around, getting personalized Christmas ornaments made for us (A family tradition we started a few years ago). Heck ..... ya know how people "drink around the world" at EPCOT?? We should "Snack Around Downtown"! What more could you ask for ?
