Doorway Widths

Hello All! My family will be visiting the World the first week of Oct. this year and my Mom will be using an ECV....rented from an independent provider....so it will be accompanying her back to the hotel. We are DVC and will be staying at Kidani Village this trip. I inquired via phone to DVC about whether or not her ECV would fit through the doorways of our villa and they assured me it would fit. Does anyone know for sure so that my nerves will be eased??

Don't know about AKV but it definatley fits at OKW. But if you are still worried then call today and ask them to make a note on your ressie that you need a Handicapped accesible room. I have never heard of them not honoring a medical request.

We stayed in Kidani after they first opened and had no problem at all getting my scooter through the door. We had a 2 bedroom and it even had a great little place by the table to park it and charge it. It was great being able to pull it in and park it right there without any having to finagle it into position or around a bunch of other things. You should have no problem.
