Can anyone give us some links for images/fonts/etc. to make a magnetic door sign? The task seems overwhelming because we don't know where to start!
Thanks,
Dan

Thank you scott I got a lot of great images, now if the creative side of me could just emerge!!::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

Is it possible to create a sign in Word? I don't have print shop. I get confused when I try to insert text and pictures over the background! Any computer savvy cruisers?
Thanks!

Here's something even easier. Go to Hobby Lobby, Michael's or even Waltmart. Buy laminating sheets designed for photos - they come in 5x7 and 8x10.

Buy a bunch of Mickey stickers - I found some with waves, beach stuff, etc. Go to Home Depot and get some Green Mickey Heads in the paint section

Come home, lay it all out on top of the laminating sheets to give yourself an idea of what you want and then stick them on. Add some sticky magnet tape (at the same stores) and you're good to go.

You can even write on the green mickey heads to "personalize" it or get some alphabet stickers to add your name, date, etc.

It was super easy and my friend's dh and I made them together (lol, you know if I had a man doing a craft, it was easy!). The only bad thing was we forgot to take pictures!

I do all my signs in my Word program. I downloaded the Walt script font and some Disney cliparts and it's so much fun to create!!! You may have to re-size your clipart or type your message and then insert the clipart but if you play around with it, you'll be making signs in no time!

I just created two door signs! I had so much fun! Thanks for all the tips and suggestions. We are almost a week away, and I have to find "cruise stuff" to do every day to keep us gong!

I found Magnetic sheets that go through my color printer at Office Depot that were Disney related. They each even came with a computer program (Print Studio) with Disney artwork in them. I found them in the clearance section and bought them all for about $1.50 each. I plan to use these for my next cruise (and my next and my next and ... etc)

Wow! Sounds like an awesome find! You'll have to post a picture so we get a better idea as to what each looks like. Maybe I'll stroll on over to our local OD & see if they have any (I'll just save them for our next cruise....................we don't have one planned yet, but a girl can dream!!!!!!!!!!!!!)::yes:: :wave2:

Krystina'sMommy: Good luck in finding those magnets. If I see any other place to get them I'll pass it along.

I looked at your photos from the Wonder. They are great and no you can not have too many pictures of the ship. You should see my collection of photos of the Magic. My DW and I have been four times and are going again in Janaury.

I saw your door signs and we have been to Edinburg. We worked in Dallas and San Antonio for a while. My DS and his DW still live in Dallas. We love that area.

Again, thanks for the great pictures. I can't wait to get back to the Magic
