Door signs for Dummies? help please

Okay, I've seen all the amazing incredible magnetic door signs you all have made, and I'm so jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could some kind person post a door-signs-for-dummies instruction sheet?

I really want to make some -

What is the best magnet paper?
What is the best program to work in?
Where do I find clip art?
Where do I find Disney fonts?
How do you stick those streamers to your door?
What else do people stick to their doors?

For me, I found Powerpoint to be the easiest program to use. I could put clip art and pictures and turn them every which way and size them however I wanted. There are quite a few sites that have Disney character clip art pieces. check out the thread that is "What does your door sign look like?"
I got great DIS Mickey ears there. Google Disney fonts (or look on that thread for that info also.)

I got magnetic paper (Avery) at Office Depot. It stuck ok. Other DIS'ers put up family pictures, cut outs of the Magic, curly ribbon. I brought a roll of tape AND SCISSORS (packed in the suitcase -not carryon). Oh, a few people cut out the Home Depot paint chips "prettied up" with names on them and attached them with magnets.

Be as creative as you want. Anything is better than a plain old door - IMHO

I didn't use magnetic paper at all. I printed mine on card stock and then used magnetic tape to stick on the back ( I believe I bought it at either Michael's or Hobby Lobby).
I used Disney's Magic Artist studio to make the sign.

Just do a search WITHIN the thread for your topics; magnetic paper, program, clip art, fonts, etc.. I know the thread is big, but it is well worth combing over to find some of your answers while being inspired to do your MAGICal or WONDERfurl sign.
