Dooney wallet question....

Hello All,
My wife (aka Disney fanatic) REALLY wants a Dooney Disney 40th anniversary wallet. I have seen only one on ebay....and boy they were proud of that one ($300). Is that the going rate and is there anywhere else that has them? Any help would be appreciated, her 40th is coming up and I'd really like to get one for her.

Have you called Merchandise Mail Order? It's an 877-toll free number which I don't have handy right now. I do know they are only there during the week, not on the weekends, as I called them on Sunday to check for a product.

Thanks for the help. If you don't mind posting the number when you can. I don't know all the Disney idiosyncrasies like she does...hence the secrecy on my end.

If you look on ebay, they've closed in the $220-$240 range/plus shipping. There's one on ebay now with a buy it now price of $249.99 with free shipping, so that's not too far off the going rate. The wallet retails for $174.99 + tax, so just keep that in mind.

You can try the Disney shopping line (407.363.6200), but I'd be suprised if you got one going that route. They never make enough of the wallets with any of the Disney Dooney lines, and they always end up being extremely difficult to get. Also, you may try posing your question in the Disney Dooney & Bourke thread. Go to the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies tab and then the thread is in the Theme Parks Community sub forum. The ladies in there are extremely knowledgable about these purses and could probably tell you what days the stores receive shipments and what your best bet would be as far as getting one of these, if ebay isn't an option.
