I have a Disney Visa and they won't take it. I was told the only discount they give is for employees.

There are some bags selling on ebay for really reasonable prices. You do have to read the listing to make sure you get the one pictured, but I have been watching them and some good placement have been selling for just over the normal price. You have to watch closely though.
If you order from merchandising - the shipping goes up in increments of $5, so if you order a bag, you can get a wristlet also for $5 more.....Not to enable you at all! LOL

I'm trying to figure out the best way to get one, ebay or WDW merch.

If you are not able to get to the parks yourself I would buy from Ebay because you get to see the placement of the characters on the bag before you buy it. With WDW merchandise you can not see the placement and they just send you what they have and shipping is expensive. That is just my opinion. Hopefully it helps!

I am looking around on ebay, but it seems the ones that are a reasonable price don't show the exact one you get!

I keep checking though. I want the BIG one!

I am going on Wed of next week and planning on getting myself one. We are driving so I could bring some back if you guys want them. I'm not sure if the offer is allowed, but I'm putting it out there.

I have an ebay account that you could check my info and also have a buying group (we meet the minimums as a group that we can't meet individually..for embroidery blanks) that you are more than welcome to join and ask about me. (You'd have to pay the $$ upfront so that I'm not coming back with bags that people don't want. Maybe 1/2 before and the rest after I get back? I don't know.)

We are leaving here Wed and coming back late that next Monday

I was at Old Navy this morning shopping for my son and while I was at the register a man kept looking at me. As soon as I paid he asked me, "Excuse me where did you buy your Mickey purse?". I told him at disney world and he said, "Aah we just got back from disney and didn't see them.. my wife loves Mickey". This is the first time a man compliments me on my purse. Here I was thinking, "wow I must look good today"

High shipping really irritates me, so I feel for those who don't want to pay $30 for shipping! I wonder if this could go into a large flat rate box with USPS? I have a UPS account (via paypal) so that is an option too.

My Ebay ID is the same as my username here. Let me know if anyone wants to join the yahoo group to ask about me there as well.

You'd pay whatever the actual price plus tax is and then actual shipping to you (whichever way is cheaper or whichever way you prefer UPS or USPS).

The ONLY place that had the white wristlets were World of Disney @ DTD. Soooo if you can't find it at one store, keep searching... World of Disney seemed to have the largest selection of all the purses anyway. They are in the section w/ the jewelry.

yup, i would agree with that. that room at world of disney is called the villians room

When I got mine a few weeks back, WoD was very limited on the black, had no tassle totes at all, but the couture shop at Hollywood Studios had EVERYTHING. Guess it depends on the day.
Moral of the story: If you can't find what you want in one store, KEEP LOOKING!
