Okay, long post alert! I went to Uptown Jewelers yesterday and bought the black barrel bag. I thought I didn't really like the Wonder pattern but it somehow really grew on me. If you look at LittleStinkerbelle's last photo, the bag I chose is actually the closest barrel bag to the front...the one on the far left of the first row, with the medium-sized aqua Mickey standing right above the Dooney label...aqua is my favorite color and I thought the placement was perfect! I picked it up and for some *strange* reason just couldn't let it go. My DBF kept asking me, "Hunny, do you want this bag?" and I kept saying, "Well...I like it..." lol. Two CM's were putting more of the black tassel totes on the display and one of them said, "Well you can put this one right here (the spot where mine was, as I was still holding it) because she is going to buy that one!" hehehe. She told me that the new pattern should be out by the end of the month. As yesterday was the 31st, she indicated that it should be out by the end of February. It is supposed to be similar to the black pattern except in varying shades of brown as opposed to colorful Mickeys on a black background. Well, I really really like my new Disney Dooney (my DBF got me medium tote in original sketch print for Christmas and my mom got me the original sketch wristlet) As soon as we got into the car I couldn't wait to switch bags. I love the colorful zipper and the bag fits everything nicely (I don't carry too much with me...just my wristlet with some gift cards and other extraneous things inside, my small wallet, cell phone, keys, tissues, that's it..I could easily fit my camera inside as well). Oh and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could still use my AP discount there...I wound up saving $36.00 and the CM told me that the 20% off has been extended until February 11th. Good luck to everyone tracking down those Disney Dooney purses!!

i love your story ironically enough, i was just staring at those pictures and trying to pick out a good looking wristlet .. and im in love with one in this pics (one with two hot pink mickeys on the front flap.) hopefully i can find one with similar print placement on ebay

Nice!!!! Is there a cell pocket inside the barrel bag?

There are two zippered pockets (one on each long side of the bag) as well as 3 other pockets for cell phone, lipstick, etc right in front of (or on, I guess) the zippered pockets. There are two on one side (one is small, about 2 inches wide, the other is longer, about 4 inches wide) and one on the other side that is more like 3 inches wide so it's perfect for a cell phone. There is also an attachment with a clip for keys. I would take a picture of the inside of my bag but I'm at work right now lol. Hope this helps!

I got a whopping $44 off my Large Black Tote with the AP discount. Honestly - I didn't even know about it. The girl at Tren-D asked "Do you have an AP or a Disney Visa?" I had both - so I had to choose the 20% for the AP, or the 10% with the Disney Visa.

It was a hard decision.

From my previous shopping experiences in December and early January, CM's told me that the 20% AP discount was supposed to end early January...looks like it keeps getting extended...I can't complain!! Awesome that you got $44 off of your large Black Tote!!!

Awww I'm glad you like my story! Placement is everything...even with the black ones...at first I really didn't think it would matter...but then I found The One without even meaning to. I looked at the other barrel bags there and just couldn't let go of the first one I happened to pick up. I'm staring at it as I type...I may have to save up for the black wristlet...oh no, I didn't just say that I'm so glad you started this thread for these bags...they really are addicting and it's so much fun to share stories and see pictures. I hope you find a wristlet with hot pink Mickey's!

So I finally got around to posting pics of my wristlet. I also threw in a pic of my keychain (chamilla charms) to help us bide the time for the new purse design.

I ordered it off ebay since I could not bear the wait until March. I love the castle, fireworks, and balloons!

I kept looking for the chamilla charms when I was there this past xmas. I didn't visit the parks this trip so I was only looking for them at WOD. Never did find them. Yours are so cute.

When I finally gave in (just a few hours later ) at Tren-D, I had the girl take each and every one down, to look at them. I finally decided on one, but.....

......after lollygagging over to WoD I saw *The One* starting down at me. Waving, smiling, calling me over. I then had to exchange the "Almost the One" at Tren-D for *The One* at WoD.

Thanks! I am not sure they are sold at the parks. I got mine as a Christmas gift from my Mom. I went to the Chamilla site and found a store near them that carried the Disney beads.

The key chain is from Helzberg in the mall and the glass beads are actually a store brand to cut down on the total cost of the key chain (Mom got some, I bought the rest).

I love it too! I love seeing it everyday and always having a bit of Disney with me.

Great story (although I hope your toe gets better soon!)!! It's so funny how our purses just called out to us...I'd say it's almost like fate I really wasn't even meaning to buy a black purse but when I just happened to find one with perfect placement, one that I felt just suited me...yep, it was over. My DBF just knew (likely before I did) that I wasn't going to leave the store without it. I *probably, just maybe* could have just left and not bought it...but we all know I'd be thinking about The One with much longing and I really did not want to deal with Shopper's Remorse...so I broke down and bought it right then and there...besides, with the 20% off, I really couldn't resist! I don't regret it at all (even though my bank account might...for now...)

Maybe this was covered before, but if someone can take pics of the view of the top/inside of the white tote ags. I'd just like a better view of how they close and if there are any pockets compartments or dividers in them.

Also, can anyone confirm that the bag will not "yellow" over time?
