Can anyone tell me the size difference between the tassle tote and the other large white bags??? Not sure which one I'd prefer. I don't want one that is huge but I like that you can see more of the sketches on the larger tote. Decisions, Decisions!! Anyone got a pic with their purse they want to share??

I have both and thought that I would prefer the larger bag, but I think I'm actually liking the tassle tote better.

The tassle tote is actually roomier than you might think. Although I usually like to wear a bag on my shoulder, I've done okay carrying the tassle tote in the crook of my elbow or just by the handles.

Tried out the larger tote this week-end and I was a little bit disappointed because one the handles kept slipping off my shoulder; of course my hands were full of Christmas shopping and I'd have to stop, put everything down and then re-adjust my purse . . .

I do agree that you can see more designs on the larger purse, so it's not any easy choice . . . just my 2 cents.

I'm trying to call WDW merchandising, but I can't talk to someone, it says to leave a message and someone will me back, but the mail box if full, so I can't, then it disconnects me.UGGGGGGHHH. Anyone else experiencing this??

Finally got thru. Here is what the CM I talked to told me:
There are 4 different sizes:
Wristlet @ $49
Barrel Bag @ $180- this has the colored zipper
Medium Tote (Tassle tote) @ $210 with magnetic closure
Large Tote @ $220 with buckle closure.

They are out of the barrel bag until January, February or March.
Does this sound right?I've only seen the pictures on the boards,never in person. I don't know which to get. Can anyone help with my decision???
I like shoulder type bags.

Ok, so the tassle tote or medium bag has the tassle and zipper, no magnetic lock like the rep told me? Sorry, I just want to make sure before I order one.

If my DH could see me now, asking all these questions, he'd die. The rep said the Medium tote with tassle and magnetic closure is $210. I asked about the colored zipper, he said no. the only one with a zipper is the barrel bag. I wonder if i should call back and see if i get the same answer, second thought I will. I asked if he could email me some pictures, he said no, b/c they don't see any pictures. No offense to any men, but i need to talk to a lady- LOL

not sure if this helps, but the photos of the black purses (wonder pattern ) i have seen show the tassle tote with rainbow zipper. the taller tote with the buckle has no zipper, and in one photo , the tag on that one called it medium tote. soo, the question is , if the taller tote with buckle is really called the medium tote, are they calling the zipper tote the tassle tote????? well, this can make you crazy!

just called and got a woman (no offense to the men- promise), here is what she told me.

she put me on hold to call over to one of the shops and find out about the zipper.
they can't guarantee delivery by x-mas.
i also called dooney and bourke to see if they were on there website or could order from them- nope- only can buy at disney.
i even asked about the 35% discount, she said not over the phone. i also asked about dvc discount, again, not over the phone. the only discount they can do over the phone, is an employee discount.
what to do.

So now the Barrell bag does NOT have the colored zipper? I am thinking of getting one of these after the holidays. I already have the white one under the tree but my anniversary is coming so... But I like the idea of a zippered purse instead of the magnetic closure

It should, if it's consistent with Dooney's other barrel bags.

Not a big fan of the barrel bags. I think they're very cute, but they're notoriously hard to get things in and out of. When I had one years ago, my hands were constantly covered in scratches from the zipper.

So the black large tote has a zipper just like the tassel tote does? I ordered the black large tote and was not aware that it comes with a zipper. That is great if it does. The pics on ebay did not show a zipper either, at least the ones that I looked at.

I'm trying to remember which bag had what, but If my memory is correct, the largest tote did not have a zipper. It was open and very similar to the white large tote. The bag with the tassel was slightly smaller and had the rainbow zipper. I remember thinking the zipper was a really nice option that the white tassel tote didn't have. Now I really have to go look at them again and pay closer attention to the details.

i totally agree. i still like the white the best, but i got a black wristlet and i think it is nicer in real life than the photos show. really very striking. so each pattern has its own style and both are really nice i think. can't wait to see what else dooney and disney have in store!

In looking at the many pics on ebay, the black large tote does not have a zipper on the top of the bag, it appears to buckle only.
