Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 4

That doesn't make sense, I placed mine last Monday morning and it is coming to my house tomorrow by UPS. I am amazed how long Disney takes to ship. No other company that I use takes as long as Disney and no other company do I want to ship faster than I do Disney. Don't they know how anxious we are to get these things

I am also anxiously awaiting a few Disney arrivals. I placed on order last Monday (it has finally shipped) and I placed my Dooney order last Tuesday. I am anxiously awaiting that one since I am dying to see placement on the credit card holder! C'mon Disney!

It is excruciating how long it takes for DS.com to process orders. The order that I placed last Monday still has not shipped!

I placed my first order on 1/30 and it finally was marked as shipped on Saturday and should arrive tomorrow (2/8). My second order was placed on 2/2 and hasn't even been packaged.

Each time I order from DS.com the lag time increases. There is NO REASON why it should take a full week for the order to even get to the point where it's boxed up and prepped for shipping. Especially when others have ordered and received their items while mine (and yours) still sit untouched. There seems to be no system for handling the orders in any kind of a timely manner.

ETA: I just sent customer service a polite, but displeased email concerning the lag time for fulfilling and shipping the orders. Most large scale online ordering business turn orders around in 24-48 hours, 72 at the outset. For it to take nearly a week to even package the order is way beyond unacceptable.

I got my cc holder today. I got great placement. So I order something really small with no hope of getting good placement and I get it. I order 5 Lucy Sketches hoping to get good placement on one out of five and I got nothing. I had ordered a Sketch wristlet with this order hoping to see it on ebay. It has horrible placement. I'll be lucky to get $10 for it. So this turned out to be one expensive cc holder! LOL Here's the cc holder:

My 1/30 order has still not shipped! My last order took a full 7 business days to ship too, and that was one item. It's getting pretty crazy.

I'm planning to call at lunch time and see what is up.

ETA: I just called to ask the status. I was told it is only in the 6th business day, and that there is still plenty of time for me to receive it in the 7-9 business days that they state. But, in my estimation, today is the 7th business day, and there is no way a UPS ground package is going to get here in the next two days. Ugg! I'm going to send an e-mail too, I think.

I've been on the DCL Cruise boards on DIS for a while, but this is my first venture into Dooney - hoping you can answer a few questions.

We went on our first DCL cruise last year and have 2 planned this year and one for 2013. My wife would love a Dooney bag, but her favorite - the Princess design - seems to be sold out. Every once in a while I see one pop up on disneystore.com, but I haven't been able to get one. Is there anywhere else reputable to but these? I don't trust eBay (should I?). I'll be in Orlando this weekend for a few days and may have a chance to go by Downtown Disney - any particular place to look there?

Yes, the credit card holder can fit credit cards. It's wide enough. Nothing inside it -- just an empty space. I can't believe no one else has gotten theirs yet.

I have bought many purses on ebay and sold some and yes, you can trust ebay. That is the only place now to get the Princess design since it is retired. Some have found it at the Dooney and Bourke outlet stores and there is one in Orlando that sometimes has the Princess purses. You might want to try there and see if they have any while you are there. You won't find the Princess at Downtown Disney but you will find the Dooney Disney purses in other styles at Downtown Disney. They are at World of Disney and at TrenD. Hope that helps. I've gotten several disney dooneys on ebay. All have been the "real deal". :yes:
And you are soo sweet to be looking for your DW!

But, here I ordered over a week ago and still the site says it still hasn't shipped. But at least they sent me an email with tracking info.
