My first thought is the Denim(peace,smiley,mickey) Erica bags, they have a zippered pouch in the middle that divides and makes the purse into two compartments.

Yep, the denim erica is the only bag I can think of with a center divider.

Personally I tend to carry a BIG bag, so that's what I'm most drawn to. I really liked the comic satchel; but I'm not willing to take a chance on the red trim, even though I love the look of it, after seeing pictures of fading/rubbing people have posted.

The black trim mini barrel bag was definitely smaller in person than I was expecting. But I thought the pink trim barrel bag was a nice size and shape, substantial enough not to read kiddie purse, but without being as big and cavernous as many of the D&B bags are. Honestly I think both barrel bags are probably best suited to folks who don't carry a ton of stuff though. But remember, this is coming from someone who normally carries a BIG bag, and it's often packed full.

The black and white striped Mickey bag also does have the center divided section and that is a big size bag I did get the red and white striped Mickey and that is similar to the Erica in size and it also has the divider pocket Actually since getting my turquoise Erica , the striped Mickey is too big for me now I love the black and white striped Mickey bag but I am thinking of selling it now after using for only three weeks

I got my first response back from dooney re: my comic satchel. They said that the bag is no loner available and that they'd either send me a gift card or apply the price as a credit to a new purchase. The letter also stated that my bag could not be returned.

I intend to call them first thing Monday because this is not acceptable. They either need to get with Disney and get me a replacement, give me a check for the price + tax! or give me my bag back.

That's interesting that they say it's no longer available, since it is still up on the store.

They had better give you an actual refund, at least!

Christine, that is unbelievable Let us know what they say on Monday I wonder if they had too many problems with the red coming off so they are not going to make any more

Mary, I was wondering the same thing. Have they abandoned the design or is it simply that it's a Disney bag and will take more work to get one...I will let you guys know what they say tomorrow. It'll be interesting if it's a limited run because of quality issues.

Cute! I just called the Disney Store to see if they could add this to an order I have in progress. I'm thinking it's a long shot since the order is probably ready to ship, but I thought I would give it a try. The CM I talked to said that she put in a request and that they would call me if they could do it.

I can't believe that there are none of the new Tink bags up on e-bay yet. I figured there would at least be a few. I wonder how many they sold.

I just spoke to Dooney about my comic satchel. The woman I spoke to was nice. Her system was showing that they're getting another shipment in, so she should be able to replace it. She said to give her 24-48 hours to confirm it. So we'll see...they did confirm that my bag was defective.

I'm glad you were able to talk to someone helpful, at least, and that they have confirmed that your bag was defective.

Hopefully the new shipment will not have that issue.

I think the tink bags that sold were probably all racers who wanted the bag. Would eBay people be able to get in without paying to enter the race???
We probably won't see them on eBay until people who bought them change their mind and want to sell them.

And backpack style bags - I've been hoping for one of those ever since the very first Disney Dooney release.

IIRC someone once posted that a sales manager at Disney told them yellow was the slowest seller in the colored sketch collection. Maybe they're trying to use up extra material, and testing interest in accessory pieces at the same time?

ITA about placement concerns with the credit card holders.

Anyone could go to the expo, you didn't need to be a registered runner, and there was no charge to get in.

I really thought at least a few Tink bags would pop up on e-bay yesterday. Color me surprised.

And I called, too, Lynn, but my CM wasn't very helpful, so I just went ahead and placed an order for that crossbody I've been coveting for a couple of years. Bought em for the nieces, now it's my turn! LOL So DS.com ended up getting more $$$ out of me in 72 hours! Imagine that!

I read your other posts and was agast at what they said to you! What a load!
I am glad this is being taking care of, at least we hope so!
It seems alot of us really like this bag but are now hesitant to purchase any of these because of your difficulties. Not good at all!

Hey, it's a game of chance on these CC holders! I've ordered one, guess Lynn and I will be the first guinea pigs~ LOL! There's only one way to get these little guys and that's by DS.com. And they know it.

I think they do follow these boards, as we've been moaning for a tink bag and here they made one. I'm sure that bag will be made public soon. At least I am trying to be VERY positive about that. LOL (ya gotta laugh because you can't cry over spilt milk!) hehehe!

I'm saying that we'll see the Tink purses and there's more to come.
