Since we're talking wallets...

I know the DL print doesn't get as much love here as the WDW print, but I have to share a picture of my new find:

I think I'm going to take the tags off this one so I can actually use it.

Ladies, I just have to share my saga that ended this week. I bought a beautiful Bucket bag from Liza about a month or so ago. Loved it. Then I saw one on ebay that spoke so loudly to me It was over MSRP. I put my bucket on ebay for a couple of days, then decided this was rediculous to do and pay more for another one. Felt at peace and didn't think about it again for several weeks until last FridayI then started going over the deep end again wanting this purse. Of course at that price it was still on ebay Who would be fool enough to buy it Well, back on ebay my bucket bag went I sold it on bid, but while it was on bid, Sunday, this bucket bag arrived on ebay with almost the same front view as the other one, for $155 or make offer, and free shipping I had to have it. I bought it immediately. She said she had bought this 40th design in 3 styles of the purse and that she thought that was silly to have 3 so she decided to sell this one. Mine ended and I got $159 for mine. So, for me, it was an even swap. Even though I didn't get more for mine which I paid full price for, I still have a new purse with what I consider perfect placement for me. I am going to stop looking on ebay so that I am not tricked into another with perfect placement for me. I knew all of you would understand this craziness.

Kathy, I saw the bucket bag you bought and it is terrific I barely had time to see it on eBay before you snatched it up Sometimes we just have to listen when a bag is calling our name

To all of you who were sending me for my 40th anniversary bucket bag, thanks because it worked big time I had it sent to my school so I could see it faster since they usually deliver in the morning I even kept my classroom door open so I could hear when they rang the buzzer But wouldn't you know, they did not come until 1:30 today But it was worth the wait because I love my placement Here is the front:

I absolutely love how the Disney World banner and train are front and center I have the castle, Pluto, Donald, Walt, Mickey ears, Minnie and Mickey, the 1971 logo, the Magic Kingdom and most of Goofy all on the front

And the back:

The back is marvelous with all of the same awesome images and this time I get the full Goofy I am thrilled and never dreamed I would get so lucky If I could change one thing (and it is a very minor thing), it would be to have Goofy not covered on the front Thanks so much to my Dooney family for all your encouragement and good wishes

I was so excited to post my bucket pictures I forgot to mention that my turquoise Erica will be delivered on Monday I am not concerned with the placement on that bag so I can relax And I just placed my order for the red striped Mickey Campsac bag using the familyfun20 discount If they come out with another Magical Monday and 25% off, I will call and have them adjust the difference I can't remember the last time they had those on-line and the familyfun20 ends on the 18th so I didn't want to take the chance that they would sell out or lose the discount to all who are still waiting My name is Mary and I'm an addict

Thanks, Liza Did you notice how the back of mine is almost identical to the back of yours See what super taste we both have Considering that by using my reward points I only paid under $47 out of pocket for my bucket bag, I am beyond happy And my just ordered striped Mickey Campsac only cost me under $27 again with the discount, my reward points and the $40 gift card for taking the on-line DVC tour

I thought I'd update everyone on the Dooney's at WDW. So far I've only seen the 40th bags at uptown jewlwers, just messengers and Kristin's. I've seen the comic bags at TrenD, WOD, Uptown Jewlers, Mousegears, etc. NO RED Satchels , yet. I was downtown today and at the Xmas party and still haven't seen them .

Someone asked about the stock of bags, so far I haven't seen any increases. I've been here since Saturday minus 1 1/2 days at universal. I'm hoping that my luck changes soon.

Mlittig: great placement on your bucket. I'm glad you rolled the dice because the bags here are not plentiful.

I'll update you if there are any changes. Heading Back downtown today/ thursday and to DHS tonight.

I actually love the DL print better than the DW print but like both. Your wallet is absolutely perfect. It doesn't get any better than that in my book. congratulations and enjoy using it!!

Oh Mary, I went to bed early last night because of not feeling well and just saw this. What great placement. You must be beside yourself The front of yours is almost like the front of mine but mine is set higher so Goofy looks like he is holding the Dooney leather emblem on his stomach. I just can't believe how good you made out. Pixie dust is valuable stuff I could not be happier for you. What a great deal to bootYou enjoy that purse. It is like a Christmas present to you from Mickey himself

It was our 20th anniversary this week and dh sent me 26 roses at school - 20 red ones for each year we've been married and 6 pink ones for the years we dated. I loved them, but couldn't help but think that he could have put that money towards the comic satchel!!!

It really is an addiction.....

I have to keep reminding myself that I am not in love with the print and that I had a Dooney barrel bag once before and the shape did not work for all the junk I carry. Today is day three of carrying my comic barrel, and I must say I'm enjoying it. Sorry daizieduck I can't try to talk you out of it!

cats mom, I love the DL print. My most-desired Dooney is the DL 55th messenger bag. It might just be my next Dooney purchase. I notice it doesn't seem to be one of the more popular bags on DisneyStore, so I keep hoping eventually it'll be marked down (and then I can stack a code on top of that), since right now it's out of my comfort zone.
