Wonder if the seller knows that eBay now charges a final value fee on the shipping as well? Can't remember when they started that. You used to just have to pay on the cost of them item. I think they probably started charging the final fee on the shipping to keep people from doing stuff like this.

I have not sold anything on ebay in forever, but i thought, i remembered something about the fee now covering shipping...

There used to be quite a few auctions like that back when people were trying to circumvent final value fees, but now that you have to pay FVF on shipping costs as well, I don't get what the point of listing that way is? Hoping for someone to push BIN before they realize how much they're getting hit with in shipping maybe?

That said, $120 all in for that bag is a better deal than the 25% off sale was, but I'd say buying from someone with 0 feedback, who is shipping from the UK, is a bit of a risk. Of course it's not a temptation for me since that bag is already coming my way.

Hmm, now there's a listing for an erica up that is basically the same deal, except the 0 feedback seller is shipping from Vietnam on this one. Coincidence or scam? I'd be very cautious.

Anyone had this happen?? My Mickey balloon head satchel zipper broke. I have registered all of my D&B's including all 5 of my Disney D&B's on the website but never sent in the card. I thought online was in lieu of the card and find that it's not. Has anyone tried to have D&B fix their pocketbook without registering with the card. I know I will have to contact D&B. I just want to get an idea what I am dealing with.

I got my princess satchel from the Dooney and Bourke website today. I love it! Almost perfect placement! I really wanted Cinderella on the front, and I have Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and most of Snow White at the bottom. No good Belle cameos on the bag (except for the very bottom), but that's okay.

Here's a picture of my little Disney Dooney collection. The Lucy was my first bag. I tried twice to get Mickey and/or Minnie on the bag but didn't luck out either time, but now I just like how colorful the front of my bag is, and am happy having the castle, banners, balloons, and Mickey bar on the front.

How does the bag on the left (Lucy?) compare in size to the Erika?

I'm thinking of selling my Sketch Tassle Tote and buying the Lucy becasue the Tassle tote is too small and I like a shoulder strap rather than the little handles.


The Erica I ordered from eBay should be delivered today! So happy it will be here before I leave for my trip on Thursday.

I've been here before. Someone listed a DL55 Kirsten for a $1 and the shipping was $200 dollars!
I bid a dollar and then reported her. She had to take my bid AND lower the shipping to a resonable S/H fee for ebay.

Soemthing for you all to think about. But she/he really needs to be reported, as it doesn't "work" this way.

ITA with catsmom on this! Very true!

These people who set it up this way are trying to scam and when they get caught, they have to turn it around so ebay gets their fees, that's why the HIGH shipping fees aren't legit on ebay.
I was soooo new to ebay when it happened to me and I was soooo lucky.

I find the Erica to be a decent bit roomier than the Lucy. I'm easily able to fit all of my things in both bags, but with the Erica, I still have lots of room to spare. I think because the depth of the Erica is greater and it's less structured. But I do love the size of the Lucy bag. I can carry my phone, two wristlets, a fairly large wallet, keys, gum, hand cream, and lipstick, with some room to spare. I hope this helps!
