I did get to have say in placement, they called me from the resort. I put more details just now on the fb page. It was pricey, but worth every penny for this, I just fell in love with this one. I am a very serious Christian, and I just love the meaning of aulani, messenger of a higher authority, and for me that is my dear savior Jesus Christ, so this purse really spoke to me!

So we just came back from our first WDW vacay in a while. Now I have never Like D & B purses (I know blasphemy on this thread) so I really didn't even pay attention to them but by the end of our trip I had to have one . I started small I got a green sketch wristlet (with amazing placement by the way) just to make sure that I wasn't in the Disney daze and have no desire for it when I got home. I have been home for almost a week now and have carried it everyday First the wristlet is a great size for me as I have a CC holder iphone case so I usually just grab my phone with my cc's in it and go but now I can throw it in the wristlet and not have to carry it if I don't have pockets (very handy with an infant) Then it also reminds me of our trip every time I look at it so it may very well be the best souvenir I have ever brought back from Disney. Now my idea was that I would just buy one every time I went but ever since I left I have been coveting the weekender. I have a feeling I may get one before my next trip. Now how do you all deal with the DS picking your bag for you? I know its not as big of an issue on say the weekender because you won't notice the placement as much but I still like things to be lined up symmetrically and am worried I will be bummed if I get one and then see one I like better on my trip.

As for the red striped bag I know They had some at the YC when I was looking last week.

Here are some pics of my wristlet. I love having the wording top and center with the partial castle and bow, then couple good mickeys, balloons dumbo, 3/4 of a tea cup I'm not a big tinkerbell fan but the bottom/side pice is a mickey/tikerbell piece so she's there too. The only thing I didn't get that I wanted was a mickey bar but there is one inside the back pocket so that's my little secret picture

Not sure if this is on here already....just saw a new print on Ebay by doing a search "disney dooney" ....Minnie's bow in a black background or white background option. Not a huge fan but it is cute.

We saw them at Tren-D back in May....cute bags shapes/sizes but I wasn't wild about the print either.

Too bad you didn't post yesterday - there was an extra 25% off all outlet and there are a few of them in the outlet. If you are not in a rush, you might want to wait a week or so and see if there is another sale sitewide or on parks merchandise. They seem to have some kind of sale every week. Just a thought.

I have been posting more on the FB page than here - I was at WDW Aug 20 - 27 (missing both the earthquake and hurricane here at home).

I had intended to get a 40th Kristen and a wallet if I found one. I came home with a Kristen and a wristlet, another large sketch tote, a pink and denim Erika and quite a few colored wristlets! All have placements that were pleasing to me.

I can tell you that the availability of 40th pieces ebbed and flowed with the week. At the beginning of the week, UJ had wristlets, and they were gone by the end of the week - I don't recall seeing them anywhere else. At the beginning of the week, I only saw 2 - 3 Kristens, and by the end, HS and Trend-D had some as well. Overall, there were lots of buckets and messengers, a fair number of crossbodys, a few Kristens and hardly any wristlets. Zero wallets.

I had the best luck at Trend-D and Uptown Jewelers for everything, including 40th, and surprisingly, the shop on the Boardwalk for colored sketch pieces - I went there twice and the woman was one of only a few who would help me with placement. There were no purple wristlets anywhere I saw all week, though plenty of purple crossbodies. There was a fair selection of all the pieces (sketch, balloon, 40th, denim, colored sketch) at WOD, of course, and MouseGears and the two shops at HS. I went to the GF, and there were a few pieces at AKL. I never made it to Yacht/Beach (I was too excited about Boardwalk) or Polynesian. And while i didn't purchase anything at the shop by Beauty and the Beast at HS, I did browse, and the woman who sold me my first dooney last year was working. And Trend-D was the only shop I recall that had Minnie bow bags, and they were the tiny ones, pouchettes, I think?

My last day there I spoke 2 CMs at Trend-D about the new bag coming out in a few weeks - the guy described it as comics with colored handles. I am excited!

Well I got back Sunday, and Monday DS.com offered 25% off theme park merchandise. I tried several times to get a price adjustment for the items sold online AND in the parks, and everyone was very sympathetic but there was nothing that could be done. EXCEPT return it all and rebuy - so that's what i did. And you know what? the package arrived today. AND the placement on my new large sketch is better than what I'd picked out at WDW, I think! So all's well that ends well - and I saved enough money to put some towards the new purchase later this month.

I am going to post a few pics on the FB page since I don't know how to do it here. Hope this helps some people who are headed to the World soon.
