Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 3

Oh, don't worry... I don't have just one. I already have two bags (sketch tote and black Mickey barrel) and a wristlet (red cruise). When I bought the first, I couldn't believe I had spent so much on a purse and was SURE it would be my only one. And today I just found out that they have Disney bags in stock at the Dooney outlet in CT, so I'm headed there tomorrow morning. This will not end well for my wallet...

It would be difficult to fit both in the wristlet unless they are very small. I have a Droid X and it just fits. Maybe the Wave is shorter. You can always return it if it's too small.

The wave is definitely narrower than the Droid X (I have an X too, and the thing is a monster). I want one either way, but I thought it would be extra convenient if I could use it onboard for that. I will just wait and see, thanks!

I'm heading to the World in 2 weeks and I really love the new tote with the Minnie Mouse bows. Has anyone seen this bag at any of the stores lately? I'd really like to purchase one. I have the original Sketch tote and the Pop Princess tote and was hoping to add to my collection.

Poohs hunny- if you are going to Clinton Crossing they only have a few styles. It was a very small display inside the front door of the outlet.

Just got back from the MK and wanted to let everyone know that the 40th bags all seem to be back in stock at Uptown Jewelers. They also had a supercute Minnie Bow bag display!

I went to the Dooney outlet in Clinton, CT today and I was surprised how many items they had. I'll do my best to remember what they had. First for wristlets: Disneyland 55th, tonal Mickey (one wallet too), and Dream cruise. For bags, they had one or more styles in the following: sketch, black with colorful Mickeys, Mickey tonal, Dream Inaugural cruise, and cruise sketch. I think that was it - I should have taken a picture of the display! Everything was 40% off retail, and if you buy a bag, you get an extra 20% off of a wristlet. Definitely worth a trip if you're looking for one of these styles and you live reasonably close. I would call first though to be sure they still have the style you're looking for. When I called yesterday, the woman described a princess style, but there were none today.

Thanks to Stitch Kingdom I saw that Disney Dream Dooney's are on the Disney Store website. They aren't showing up under the Dooney section. I searched "cruise" and found them.

Oh man, that is kind of depressing considering I paid that much for a bag that I though was exclusive to the ship Oh well, given that it is a dated bag (2011), I'm guessing based on the sales so far, they knew they had more than they needed for the remaining 2011 cruises. At least I got to have an exclusive bag for 4 months

I had another Disney Dooney sighting last night! I took my little sister to see Selena Gomez and saw a girl with a pink sketch wristlet. My little sister took one look at it and said, "I want one of those!" It seems I have managed to get her addicted as well

I was there last week and there were two Minnie totes at Uptown Jewelers and two in a showcase at Trend-e. My husband bought one for me from Trend-e!! Yay.... There were none left at uptown jewelers on our last night but that doesnt mean there arent any left right? Good luck - hope you find one.

I'm also considering a 40th anniversary bag and I'm struggling between the messenger and the bucket. I'm normally use small bags - have a barrel, tassel tote, and princess bucket. But I'm not sure I'm in love with the fabric strap on the messenger..... So for those that have them or have seen them which appeals to you the most

Okay, I have the sketch large tote and love it. I want to get a black Mickey tote for winter. I love the size of my large tote & especially the length of the handles. After owning many purses, I've found that I need to have handles that I can easily throw on my shoulder or I just won't use the purse. Those who have seen/held both, do you think I'd be happier with the regular tote or the tassel tote? Which is closer to the large sketch tote I already own?

I don't have detailed pics but own two erica bags. They are very spacious. I am able to easily get into my erica all that I get into the bigger totes. They are also better organized inside. they have a zipper pocket down the middel with two large spaces on both sides to hold your stuff. More pockets on each side of the bag also. They are cloth so are very flexible. Dooneys website show more of the inside of the erica bags. Hope that helps

The black wonder tote will be much closer in size to your large sketch. I really like the straps on the wonder tote. The Susanna ballon is also great an big!
