Nikki - Thank you SO much for posting the photos! I LOVE your bags!!! I keep going from wanting the Kristen to the bucket. I like a little larger bag, so now that I see how great the Kristen looks on your arm, I'm back to wanting the Kristen. Oh, and the wallet.....I can't forget the wallet!

I have been following the South Beach diet and either walking on a treadmill for 45 minutes or kickboarding (as in not really swimming) laps for 30 minutes 3 - 4 days a week. The Dooney Purses are great motivators and I want to loose more weight before I buy many more clothes so I have a limited wardrobe of clothes but I am building a great purse wardrobe.

Hi,

I took some pics of mine. My ipad is in an otterbox case. It's 10" across the shortest side and the thickness is about 7/8".

As you can hopefully see, it's a bit tight. It does fit, but not with much else...

Do we have any side-by-side photos of the bucket & Kristen? I really love both of them, but I think the bucket won't be large enough for all the stuff I lug around!

That's really helpful! The bucket looks to be quite a bit smaller when you take into account the angle...Is that the case? Thanks for posting!

I am new to Disney D&B...does anyone know if in the past they ever sold out of any? I'm wondering if it's safe to assume since the DL 55th hasn't sold out...they have quite a bit of stock of the DW 40th? I won't be there till very end of August

Oh...and I sooo wish the 40th has black leather accents instead of brown...like the cruise line one...it goes with so much more ... I know...picky picky!

The color of the leather trim accent is actually navy blue. I think it's safe to assume there will be plenty of 40th anniversary dooneys when you go in August.

We are not going until November and I think I want the bucket and the wallet. I know that I can get the bucket online, but really would like a nice pattern on the wallet. Well, a nice pattern on the bucket, too =)

As of right now, the only way to get the Lucy is to call the disneystore.com phone number and order it through them. You may need the sku number or some other information. Trust me...my mom made it her mission to find me this bag and that was the ONLY way to get it! They told her it would be available on the website by mid-Feb but it still isn't so who knows....

The Tote is wider, about 2.5" at the top, and about 1.5" at the base. But the Bucket Bag is about 1" deeper than the Tote. You do lose some useability in the Bucket Bag because of the oval shape though. So yes, I'd say you can fit more in the Tote.

The problem is, I'm not sure how much of the info from CM's is reliable. I had one CM share "insider Info" about the Dooney bags, and when I pressed him about where he heard it, he admitted another customer told him. I knew the info was flat out wrong btw.

Personally I don't worry until I start to see mark downs in a particular pattern. Stock of the DL 55 collection seems to be steady, and no mark downs yet, so I doubt that they're planning on closing it out any time soon; but that's just my own personal theory, not based on insider info of any sort.

Sounds like you've been working very hard! That is wonderful and an inspiration!!! I feel like I've had the winter blahs with the cold, snowy, icy weather we've had. But, this morning a friend is stopping by for a long walk, and I look forward to getting back into the walking groove! Gotta look good while carrying those Disney Dooneys!

Question for my fellow Dooney Disney fans! I'm headed to Disney next month, with *just* my DH I really don't want to carry a bag into the parks, since I won't have our wee's with us I won't have as much stuff. I'm thinking of using my sketch wristlet. Has anyone just used that while touring the parks? Really appreciate any help!
