Oh wow...okay...thank you for the feedback! That pretty much seals the deal for me...no Kristen . The messenger just doesn't seem big enough for me. Maybe the bucket is the way to go? Hopefully we'll be able to see more pictures soon as people get their new Dooney's

Hey everyone! Does anybody have the Disneyland or WDW anniversary messenger bags that they just came out with and would be willing to share some pictures of what they could fit inside of it?

I saw the pictures of it inside the other bag but I'm wondering if it will be big enough for me to carry around some things at school.

I got the sketch letter carrier bag last time I went but it's a little small for what I'm wanting and I am IN LOVE with the new anniversary bags.

Seems like the purse "sits" right at the underarms. Not sure it is comfortable to carry.

See I think I'd like thew fact it hugs underneath the arms. That and I'm 5' and sometimes I take my bag off my arm and carry it. The last thing I need is a really expensive purse dragging at my shoes.

I'm not sure how helpful this will be, but here's a picture of the exact same stuff in a messenger bag and in a bucket bag:

It was a wallet, sunglasses, notebook, pen, keys, treat tube, and two phones (had to use an extra phone as a stand in for my camera since I was using the camera to take the picture).

The messenger bag and bucket bag both have the same interior pockets, but I'd say the main compartment on the bucket bag is quite a bit larger than on the messenger bag. The nice thing about the messenger is the separate back slip pocket, although you really can't fit much in it.

Sheila add me to the list. I too would like to see the bucket style bag on your shoulder I have been so tempted to buy it a 40th anniversary bag on ebay. One seller had reasonable prices. I requested pics of the bags he/she has available. As of today no response to my request. I do not want to buy from "a stock photo". Reason why I don't order from disneyshopping or WDW merchandising.

Hi does your overnight bag have the zipper on the front like the disneyshopping pic or in the back. The ones I saw at disneyworld have the zipper in the back and no key. We all love pics..

The lock and key is shown on the disney website. I did not see them on the bags at disney world.

Hi everyone, so I'm so excited about the 40th Anniversary stuff and can't wait to get mine when I go in May. I really want a wallet though, in any print, and can't find one to save my life. I see it cats mom's photos, it looks like there's a wallet in there. Is it true? is that a wallet???? help please!

Boy, you guys are harsh on the e-bay prices. Maybe I'm just sensitive because I've sold D&B bags I decided not to keep there.

I know FL tax is a bit less than CA tax, but if I bought a messenger bag at retail plus tax I'd have to charge $315 for it on e-bay just to break even.

Of course I assume the seller of the WDW messenger bag must be getting a discount of some sort, because he/she has tons of Disney stuff listed, and why bother if you're not making some kind of profit on it? But it not be as much as you would think at first glance.


Anyway.....

DD agreed to model the bucket bag for me. It's not the best picture ever because she wanted to be at least somewhat incognito.
She's about 5'3" tall.

As far as I know wallets are only available in the brown Tonal pattern and the DL 55 pattern right now. The one in my picture is the DL 55 pattern.

For what it's worth, the DL 55 collection was released in July, but the wallet didn't show up until October, so it's possible that they'll still release one in the WDW pattern too.

I agree with you about ebay pricing. The 40th bags are not nearly as extreme as one might think. Ebay & paypal fees are crazy! At one point I had an extra Wonder bag that I got cheap, I would've had to sell it at a ridiculous price to break even. Thankfully my mom bought it!

Since the 40th anniversary print is already for sale in the parks, I guess it's safe to assume that they will not be doing a "special release event" like they have done in the past. I was hoping to get a cosmetic bag in the 40th print for my bday present
