sorry...sorry...okay...upon googling I saw the 40th anniversary bag...LOVE it! Not as much as the DisneyLand one though....but does anyone know if it comes in the messenger style? and can you buy it through merchandising?

I can tell you that you canNOT buy it through merchandising. Been calling every single day......only available in parks as of now!

Dizdreamer1955, thanks for posting the pics of the Cindy and Kristen side by side! I love seeing the Kristen open and standing up like that. Looks so much nicer than the pic on ds.com. It's a great looking bag! I'm thinking it's going to be too big for everyday use though. Looks like you could actually fit the Cindy inside the Kristen with room to spare, is that correct?! I am probably going to go with the bucket bag. But I'll probably change my mind a million times before I actually have an opportunity to purchase one!

I could get the Cindy & the messenger inside the Kristen. The Kristen is more expandable because of the wider sides. These are not the best pictures, but hope they help a bit:

Did you see the bucket style? (There's a bucket style in the WDW 40th anniversary and DL 55th patterns.)

I posted pictures of all of them, a couple pages back. Messenger, Bucket, Kristen, Letter Carrier and wristlet. As far as I know that is all of them.

Thanks for the additional photos Dizdreamer1955! So nice of you! The more I look the more I can't decide. Might have to get the Kristen AND the bucket style. I bet I can talk my hubby into it. This is a big year. I turn 40 AND we will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary in the fall! I think he would totally let me get both if I really want to but I'll try to be good and stick with one or the other!

Wow, what a coincidence. I am will be 40 yrs old this October and also celebrating my 20th anniversary this June. I told DH I already knew what I wanted for Valentine's Day. Cash for my (hopefully) October birthday trip to get my 40th disney dooney. Of course, if I get , and someone is willing to buy me one when they go that would be awesome

Sounds like fun! My best friend and I are planning a 40th birthday trip next February. We tried a 35th trip but it ended up being kind of a disaster. I broke my arm a few weeks before the trip in a really bad ski accident. I couldn't even lie down to sleep. Needless to say, we ended up coming home early. Now we're planning a redo!

Thanks for the link! I really don't know what to do?? I am a very functional/practical person - I only have/need/want ONE purse....and this will be the most expensive/first name-brand purse I have bought. I'm starting to wonder if I just want it because it's WDW themed!?! I'm really not crazy about any of the styles....bucket styles always seem to suck everything up to the bottom and you can't find anything....Kristen seems big/not very flattering??...and the messenger seems to small. Advice please....

no they wont be celebrating their 40th at wdw, they will be taking a cruise, i hope. nothing is for sure yet. i will be at wdw for the 40th though my dates are sept. 26 - october 7th
