Hey Everyone-
I haven't been on here in ages but I just wanted to let everyone know (mainly the Fl based Disney Dooney nuts) that 40% off select Disney Dooney's is on the list of merchandise for the Benefit Sale that is going on this Saturday at DTD.

Wow 40% would be awesome. Unfortunately my husband's conference in Orlando isn't until 11/11

My guess is that the "selected" styles will be the blue and white Mickey faces and the pink and green Minnie styles.

I need something to brighten my gray, rainy, getting my DD's virus, and my husband is leaving for a week to go to France for work on Saturday day.

So, we looked at Doonies at most of the places that they're sold. DW wasn't interested. She had plans for a small messenger bag style purse at the store in Japan.

Then came Friday, our last full day. Looking at them at YC, she indicated she was now interested. YC didn't have much of a display, so we walked to the BW. It was there that she found one she liked. It is the black color, with neon Mickey outlines on it. I don't know what its called. The size is a medium barrel shape, from my perspective. A nice assortment of inside pockets. It believe it is already in use. The Japan purse is in the closet (though I'm sure a plan for it is in place).

Got my GIANT Disney D&B in July when we were there! It is awesome! It has all the various Disney attractions and characters all over it...It is a cream color, and I love it! I also got the little makeup bag! I sure wish they made wallets! I may get the largest black one when we are there in 3 weeks, so I have two totally different styles and sizes! Does anyone know if they will ever make wallets to match??? I have to have all matching accessories! LOL I feel weird using my coach wallet with a D&B Disney purse! Hahah

Just have to share my Disney Dooney story...I was at the mall today and I saw a girl with the black Mickey wristlet. I got so excited when I saw that, I wanted to say something but didn't get the chance. I just thought it was cool because you always see people with Vera Bradley stuff or Coach but never Disney D&B!!! I think that's the 3rd time though I've seen someone around here with one of them. Love it.

I really do think these bags were supposed to come with one.....I know...I sound crazy.

Well, if you're crazy for buying a shoulder strap for your princess satchel, I'm even crazier! I have a DL 55 messenger bag, and while I think the casual strap it comes with is fine for wearing it cross body, I wanted a traditional british tan leather strap for carrying it over the shoulder. So I actually bought a used D&B handbag I didn't even particularly like, but it came with a brand new, still in factory packaging shoulder strap that was exactly what I was looking for. The handbag went in our donate box the day I got it, but I love my new shoulder strap.

Have you tried searching closed listings to see if anything similar has sold recently? Since it's a style that is still available new, unfortunately I think the price does tend to drop for used bags, even if you've only had it for a short time.

The facebook page has been pretty quiet lately, but you could at least post there and let folks know you're listing it on e-bay. Maybe it will help generate a bit more traffic for your auction.

Goof! I don't feel so weird, either! Thanks!!! Haha...I really hope they come out with some wallets! I'm sure they would sell, and I like everything to be matchy-matchy....so I really need them to get a move on making those wallets!
