FYI - The Disney Store online is having a 20% off total purchase - including Disney Park merchandise. Dooney's on sale for 20% off. Woo-Hoo!!!

I know- I'm frustrated because I just ordered DD a wristlet for her birthday just days before they started the 20% off! Oh well, at least she loved it when she opened it last night! She has been following this thread, and has wanted a blue sketch wristelet for months. She was surprised and excited! And I got lucky with pretty decent placement.

I got back yesterday from WDW and saw the techy stuff at a few of the stores. I definitely saw them at the store down by ToT in Hollywood Studios.

can't wait to see pics of the new tech stuff- and just 'cuz I thought y'all would understand...I passed on the wonder dooney that I really wanted when we were in WDW in June (got something for my kids instead- blech!) Anyhoo, they had the one I wanted (I wear a lot of black, so I really love that pattern) on sale already plus the 20%off so I went for it! My tote bags on it's way, and I can't wait! Sorry for the interruption, I'm just so essited! OK, y'all can go back to your regularly scheduled thread now, and I'll go back to lurking on it LOL.

My husband is currently in orlando attending a conference. I asked him to go to downtown disney to get me a purple letter carrier. I even took a pic of my blue letter carrier with the placement I was hoping for him to find
Well, he goes to World of Disney and shows a CM a pic of what he is looking for.. she gets him a letter carrier and he calls me and asks "Do you want Minnie or Tinkerbell on your bag?" I then ask him, "You sure it's Minnie?" At this point, he says please talk to the CM and tell her what you want. CM then tells me I can choose from MICKEY or Tink on the front. So much for my excitement over MINNIE But at least he got me the purple letter carrier, now to wait until he flys home tomorrow to see what placement I got.

Thanks for your sweet responses- I loved the barrel bag too but I'm getting an iPad for Christmas so I wanted a purse that would hold it- from the dimensions I think the tassel bag was just a little bit too small

Me too, but I think if I have to wait until Christmas, I will wait for the 2nd generation.

I am using my DD's IPAD to try it out, but I think I prefer my laptop. I don't like the "touch" function much due to the fact that the screen is smaller and I sometimes don't "touch" the area I need to. For instance, pg.2, and instead I touched pg.4 Do like the fact that it weighs next to nothing. Even my DD 16, is asking for a laptop to do her school work. She says she would rather have a laptop instead of the IPAD. But, we all have different opinions as to our likes.

I think these are part of the new tech line, Mickey & Tinkerbelle I-phone covers:

Looks like they're marketing them as series 1 special editions, so of course there's a hefty price tag of $29.95 attached.
As far as I could tell series 1 includes 6 different designs: Mickey, Tink, Toy Story Aliens, Kermit and Animal from the muppets, and one with green eyes and a mouth on a black background... maybe a scary Cheshire Cat?

I saw the black Mickey parts notebook and I-pad covers at WoD yesterday, but I didn't see any pink ones.

I hesitate to tell you because if the Disney Store webmaster reads this he/she might find a way to block it in the future but it was totally serendipitous! I typed "Mickey Ballon Dooney" or something like that in Google and then clicked on "images". Then when I hovered over the pics it showed disneystore.com for some of them. When I clicked them it took me to those links/pages! Maybe when the 20% off promo is over the bags will be up for sale??? I did see both of them at TrenD on October 24.
