Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

Not certain if your referring to the harvey's or the dooney's but if it's the dooney's then I can help a bit. The white sketch and colored sketch wristlets are just an open pouch with a slit pocket on the outside back of the bag, the disneyland 55th large wristlet is an open pouch but it also include a small pocket on the inside. HTH

Does anyone here happen to have the black wonder tassel tote or the barrel bag? Do you love it? Is there plenty of room?

I have the white sketch tassel tote which I love but it is a bit small. I have been considering the black barrel bag and I did look at them at WDW back in June but I didn't look inside.

I have both but prefer the tassel tote. Not sure why, but it is my go to bag when I am going places and don't want to worry about messing up the bag. It is the perfect size, the shoulder straps fit nice, and it zips which is nice.

I ordered my Harveys tote yesterday too and it shipped today

I've never seen a Harveys Disney wristlet either. They have a Disney clutch, but it's much bigger than a wristlet. The measurements for the clutch are: 10 1/2" wide x 7" deep x 6" high.

My Harvey's arrived todayIt has a tag on the inside that says #12 out of 250 limited edition. When you get yours can you post what number you get? I know it sounds silly, but I am just curious. I ordered at about 8 a.m. yesterday.

Where have you seen the clutch? Do they still have them?

That does help thanks. I haven't made any decisions yet but I was thinking about opting for one of the wonder bags for this winter instead of my DL tote, I'm still not completely convinced that I'm going to love the DL tote, I just wish that the handles were a tiny bit longer.

Those of you with the Wonder Tassel Tote... do you find the inside gets dirty? I love the size of the bag, but I hate that it isn't lined. I also hate that the bag is white in the inside and not lined. I mean would it hurt Dooney to put a fabric liner in the bag??? LOL

i agree with the previous poster on the tassel tote. i have both that and the barrel and prefer the tassel tote for the size, shape, handle length and zipper. i love to take it to disney for our vacation. i have not had any issue with keeping the inside clean, but i am careful not to put spillable things in there,etc. it's a great bag and the wonder print goes with everything .

ps. i do agree that dooney should have lined it , but the lack of the lining has not actually caused me any problems. hope this helps!

I LOVE my tassel tote. Can't say enough good things about it. As another poster said, I'm careful of what I put in it so I haven't had a problem with the inside getting dirty. Although I did find my pen opened up in it one day, but fortunately no damage was done. It's a very comfortable bag to carry and it holds quite a bit.

Well I finally gave in and bought a pink sketch letter carrier on disneyshopping.com. I'm gonna take my chances with the placement. I just couldn't pass up free shipping since it's normally $19.95! If I run across a purple one while in WDW in a couple of weeks I'll probably have to get it and then let my mother have the pink one

We went down to Florida in June to help move my grandmother into full care nursing which was a tough and sad thing to do. My husband surprised us with a day trip to Downtown Disney and hotel stay at Caribbe Royale. I went into World of Disney and looked at the purses, but just couldn't bring myself to buy one. I don't buy myself things like that. He knew how much I liked the D&B Mickey black barrel bag, so the other day the UPS driver knocked on our door and left a box. It was the very purse that I fell in love with all wrapped in D&B tissue paper. I was so surprised and touched that he would surprise me for our anniversay/birthday. I guess I'm both loved and spoiled.

well i am so sorry for the sadness that comes with a move like that, but i also want to say congrats on having such a thoughtful hubby who clearly loves you very much! that was a very sweet thing for him to do and i'll bet you will love carrying your dooney knowing it was purchased for you with such devotion!! enjoy your surprise dooney. surprises like this are the best

I'm also confused why there are both gold and rainbow zipper versions of the sketch letter carriers. I can't tell you why, but I will tell you what I have observed. I was there on July 3rd and they were both available then. The gold zipper is most commonly seen on the blue letter carriers. I actually accidentally bought one with a gold zipper because I was paying more attention to the character placement than the zippers. I ended up really wanting a rainbow zipper and I exchanged it. Last week I saw both the rainbow zipper and gold zipper blue carriers at the Magic Kingdom. The other colors all had rainbow zippers.

Ok, thanks for the reply, I have a blue letter carrier with a gold zipper, which I really like for it's placement and zipper color. For some reason my son who is six doesn't like the colored zipper, why I listen to him on my Dooney & Burke purchases I don't know, but am happy with it none the less. Thanks!

I was also wondering why some LC have a gold zipper and some rainbow. I personally prefer the rainbow colored zipper and passed up a blue LC with great placement awhile back because it had the gold zipper. I can't say that I've seen the gold on any other colored LC only the blue one. I would love to know why
