Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

Does anyone want to buy a Sketch tote (the medium one) ??? I purchased it on ebay a few weeks ago and have never used it. Its still in the box wrapped in the tissue paper. It has the original tags on it from WDW, the paper inside the purse, and the card that says its a Disney Dooney. I bought it for myself, but feel guilty keeping it because I could really use the money for my son instead.

If anyone is interested, please PM me. I will try to post pictures this evening or tomorrow morning. I'm asking the regular price for it plus you pay shipping charges. It has really, really good placement on it. Minnie and Mickey are on the front on either side of the "Dooney" tag. Tink is on the back in the center with a castle on each side of her (towards the top so the very tops of the castle are off the purse).

I wish they would do a WDW and DL only bags. I am getting sick of the same things at each resort. I like it when you would go to WDW and see things you didn't see at DL. So I hope they do a Dooney for the 40th at WDW that celebrates its history. I hate to see DL 55th Ann bag at WDW.

Its funny I had the money for the 55th bag because I decided that when we are WDW in Aug, that I wasn't going to shop. A lot of what is WDW you can get at DL. So I wanted something that was more special.

If you want to ever have really really I mean the best shopping, go to Tokyo Disneyland Resort. They don't have Dooney as of Nov 08 but they have so much and its different from store to store.

I totally agree janell... it is disappointing at WDW as I feel like the merch never changes or I can get it at DL. I remember like 3 yrs ago even when everytime I went to DL (3 to 4 months) there was always new shirts and sweatshirts and I was always broke. Now it is like oh yeah seen that, and that, and that...but on the plus side, I suppose it allows me to get my disney dooneys.

But I think that is my fav part about the new bags...I love all things disney, but I am a loyal DL girl, so it feels really special to me to have a bag that is only DL. I really really doubt they will sell it at WDW. If you weren't a fan, you'd be like wait, I don't get it, why do they only say disneyland??? I love love them. They feel more original and walt inspired and I love walt. I cry everytime I hear the dedication speech...which is why I guess it is good that they don't have remember dreams come true fireworks anymore...that and the fact that I have the entire thing memorized, and quote it line by line the entire time. Hahahahah... good evening, this is julie andrews. Once upon a time, there was a magic kingdom made of hopes, and childhood fantasies, a timeless place where every land was filled with wonder...Okay okay I will stop. hahaha.

Oh and plus, everyone at wdw will be so jealous when we are all rocking our new bags over there and they can't buy them at wdw. Hehehehahahahahaha. Can you tell I'm excited???

I'm with you guys...cats mom has my bag packaged and ready to mail. I am so excited! She some how got me the messenger bag that was on display and it's perfect! And I am so glad that they are an off white/cream color so I don't have to worry about discoloring.

i do understand its alot of money .. but you pay for quality and these handbags are TERRIFIC quality! plus, its such a terrific souvinir of a fantastic trip to disney ... a way to hold onto and see the "magic" on a daily basis!

Ahhh rachel...You are the best disney dooney girl!!! I too am jealous! you are right, the placement on the yellow ones is amazing how they are both like perfect and match! Awesome! Love it.

I will take pictures and post them. I'm sure I will be in love with them. Once I pay my tuition I will have to get the tote-it is a necessity for my textbooks The way my schedule is I only have 3 classes but on 3 different days so I will only need one book at a time. Luckily, the Information Technology books are usually small-sometimes there is an exception though. I would prefer more classes on less days, but certain instructors are better than others.

I still cannot thank you enough for everything you have done

Next May we will have to go on the cruise! I hope you don't mind the kids? But, that is what they have the babysitting for

OMG!! I hope they don't wait 16 years I don't even want to say how old I will be! Let's just say I am in my very early 30's now and add 16 to that-NO!! I will be one of the women who says they are 34 for as long as I can Next year sounds good for a new bag Does anyone know the exact date? If not, I will google it.

Don't mean to offend anyone-please don't take this wrong. It is my own fear of getting older I need to deal with. I still feel like I did out if high school, but can't believe how much time has gone by.

I get teary eyed when I hear Walt speech and when I hear him speak. He was so creative and made something we all love.

I so think Disney is missing the boat. My first trip to WDW was in 2003(since then I have been two more times). I remember how great the shopping was, I spent so much money. lol Then in 2008, there still was a lot to buy, but not like in 2003. And I think I liked what WDW had in 2008, because we were getting married at WDW on that trip. So I loved the year items. In 2009, the shopping got even more limited. I have gotten to the point I wont buy something that I can buy at either park.

Disney should creat reason to travel. If you want that Dooney, you have to go to DL or WDW. You shouldn't be able to get it at both places. Sort of like the cruise lines. If you want that bag, take a cruise or go to ebay.

Oh well, Disney will do what they will do.
