Oh my goodness you just made my day!!!!! I was just talking to my DH about how I would love love love a DCL Dooney because we are DCL obsessed!!!! We are going on our cruise in May so I hope they will have them!

The tan bags are not made of a stiff material like the white sketch and wonder bags. The entire tan line is made of a soft fabric material. I will say that it is a very durable fabric because I have had purses almost identical to the tan line and they have lasted for years. Hope this helps answer your question.

I read in another Dooney thread (different site) that someone had gotten an email from Dooney and Bourke about the Disney Dooneys and that there would be new designs coming out about every 3 - 6 months. As the new come out - the old would be retired. So - if this turns out to be accurate, I thin we could expect the next designs to be out somewhere between June and September, since these new designs were released in March.

Knowing that the plan is to retire the old designs, if anyone is looking for a sketch - you should probably pick one up off ebay or call merchandising if you don't plan to visit in the near future.

my wife should be able to give you the scoop on what the deal is with the bags and what they plan to do. if they are planning on retiring them i plan on getting a couple more.

I need the navy Mickey Betty bag and the brown wallet. I have a couple of other Dooney wallets and they really last. I have a couple of the Betty type bags from last summer and they also wear really well. I will be going down for a few days in early June, but I don't know if I can wait that long! I need them now to keep my sketch and wonder bags company!!!

From what I have been told by CM's (and well I ask them every time we go lol) that is exactly what is happening. The white sketch will be going in the next 3 to 4 months followed by the black wonder shortly after, so I agree that if you want it get it now because I am sure those prices on Ebay will become insane after you can no longer find them in the parks. I am anxious to find out what the new bags will look like

I had so many people comment on my sketch tote this weekend. Friday night someone actually stopped me when I was leaving Old Navy to ask me were I got the bag. Even the guy checking me out at the grocery store on Saturday commented on it. He just got back from Disney so he understood the obsession.

I can't believe that in just a few more days I will be able to get my little hands on a wristlet or something. Still can't decide what I'm going to get yet, but I know I'm coming home with something.

Also, the WDW banner is separate from the Disneyland banner, so there is a total of 3 yellow banners on pattern #1 - WDW, DL, and D&B.

I am back from my trip and I got my Dooney.

I went to DTD on my first day and went straight to TrenD. They had 2 large Sketch totes and I picked one with both Mickey and Mickey on the front. I totally love it and used it for the rest of my trip.

My dad got my mom one of the new crossbody bags and she loves it! We found that at the jewelry store on Main St at the Magic Kingdom. That jewelry store had a great selection of all the prints and styles.

I will try to remember to take a picture to share with you all.

Finally back to the world of full internet connection and my computer!

So I will post my pics, but it might be tomorrow since I am so wiped after the 19 hour trip home and the 11 day trip...

I ended up with the letter carrier and love it! I bought it at DtD and below is the report on bags/stores when we were in the parks.

Sorry for the MIA action while there, I could not post pics from my phone with my service and getting in the mobile dis boards was a bit rough as well.

DtD:
TrenD and WOD had a good selection of all prints

GF Summer Lace had a good selection of all prints

MK: Watch store had a nice selection of all prints and was really displaying the black wonder print

DHS: Had the white sketch, black wonder, and pink and blue canvas DID NOT have the tan wonder print

Epcot: Did not see any for sale, but only went to MouseGears

Disney Wonder: White sketch pattern

I just read about the DCL print and cannot wait to see it!

I saw some women carrying the bags at WDW (I carried my new letter carrier, but left the sketch wristlet in the room), but saw more of them being carried on the Wonder, guess it is less dirty there

Honestly the best place to see lots of pictures is go to Ebay and see them there.
Part 1 of this thread has lots of pictures but you have to scroll a lot.

My DD was at DTD TrenD today. They have all styles (except 1st Edition) here. They also have several in each style/type.

I can't make up my mind what I want (they will be there all week)
I really prefer shoulder purses, I love the 2nd edition white sketch, but wish is was a shoulder and had a zipper. Any suggestions??

Could someone tell me how much the wallets are? (I didn't ask her while she was there) also, do they make them in the white sketch and black wonder?

i have the sketch tote and wonder tassel and since i , like you , prefer shoulder bags with zippers, i really find i use the wonder tassel tote most. it's a really nice bag, holds quite a bit and the (rainbow) zipper makes me feel more secure about not losing anything. my first love was the white sketch pattern, but i have to say the black wonder pattern is really great to carry, goes with most everything , and is a nice pop of color. good luck!

I believe they are $175 and only come in the tan print.

I ordered something last year from Disney merchandising and was told at that time that I could NOT use my Disney rewards card. Maybe that has changed since then. Would be nice.
