Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

SUNNIERN- The 55th celebration was a tad of a let down. I guess you can't compare anything to the 50th, but it wasn't even close. They pretty much had a dedication at noon and sang happy birthday at 4, those two were really cool...but it was like really, that's it. With the fact that they opened in 55 and turned 55 this year, I thought it would be something a little cooler than that. Oh well. And no, no ear give away! BUT you could buy special ones that day for $22... Which of course I did. But I'm like hey where are my free ears??!?!?!?! AHAHAHAHAHAH, oh and you will LOVE your tote, the placement on the 2 I got is AMAZING. The totes had the best placement of everything!!! ANDDDDDD you will love to know that there is a picture of WALT on the front!!!

Woo hoo!! I can't tell you how very excited I am!!!! I'm so sorry the celebration wasn't anything like the 50th celebration. How disappointing. I think it's awesome that you were there though!!

While I checked back with this site practically every hour to get updates on the Dooney event I dug out some old DL film we transferred a couple of years back. So in honor of the 55th I posted this on YouTube. My dad shot it and the film was not kept at optimal conditions, but it's pretty cool to see some of the attractions that no longer exist and see how the characters have changed.

The first 1/2 is from 1972/73, the second half is from the bicentennial.

Oh my gosh! This brought back SO many memories!! I could never understand why they took away skull rock, it was awesome!! Thank you SO much for sharing!!

I know some folks have been getting discount coupons on dining receipts at WDW that can be used on DB merchandise there, and Disneyland AP holders get 10% - 20% discount on DB merchandise there. So the seller could still be making a small profit on the deal, although certainly not much.

I have both a messenger and a letter carrier in the Disneyland pattern, and I'll probably only keep one. Instead of returning whichever one I decide not to keep, I've been thinking about putting it on e-bay at exactly what I paid, mostly to make the outrageously priced re-sellers mad.

Maybe the seller you found is doing that too. Be sure they have lots of good feedback and follow all the paypal rules to the T if you decide to go for it though.
