Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

Hi all. On our last trip in Feb I was obsessed with looking at all the Dooney's and ended up with the large black tote. Problem is, that my (just turned) 4 year old liked them too. She's a girly girl.

We just got back from our May trip and I had saved to purchase the Navy and White Mickey Dooney and she happened to be with me in the store. UGH! The lady was showing me the Blue and Pink at DTD and I said "I'll take the blue one" and my 4 year old piped up saying "and I'll have the pink one please". I told her that I didn't think she needed such an expensive Disney purse and she reminded me that she had "card money" (Disney Gift Cards) that I told her she could buy something with. (Plus we get 20% off)

Awww how cute! Isn't it funny how they just have to be like Mommy. My oldest has 2 of the Dooneys but she has been a Coach girl for a few years now. All because she had to be like Mommy and Daddy went and bought her one. She will actually save up her own money now to buy a new purse. I feel so sorry for the man she marries he better have a really good job!

Ok, I'm not one to go crazy for a bag....ok I am!!! I noticed that Disneystore.com doesn't have the Sketch tote in stock. I already have the Sketch wristlet and wanted to get the tote before my trip in Aug. Do they still sell them in the parks??

DOes the 3 zipper tonal come in any other colors. I like the bag but wish it came in a different color..the brown/beige seems more for the fall and I am looking for a summer bag.

Just the tan for now... I had the same thoughts about color and then got it b/c in person it was great!

I have not seen the tonal in person, that is why I am hesitate to purchase it. But it does look like the perfect style of bag to carry around the parks for my next disney trip.

They still don't have the sketch Cindy tote or the large sketch tote.

I think I'd have to go with picking it out. The sketch can vary so greatly and some are really not great, just my opinion though. Good luck, it's a tough decision!

I live in Florida and carry it EVERY day! It's very light in color, as neutral as you can get.

I also thought it was so sweet that at 4 years old, she wanted to use her own Disney gift cards! You are obviously raising your kids to be very responsible...and, of course, have very good taste with fashion!! lol

It seems that you are teaching her a great lesson in responsibility! She used her Disney money for something that was important to her. It is a beautiful, well-made purse that she will want to take care of because she herself *bought* it! Hope you both enjoy your Disney Dooney's for a long time!
