Has anyone ever bought a Dooney and Bourke purse at WDW. They have quite a few different designs but I haven't seen any in real life. They are really cute although a little pricey. :thumbsup2 I'm not into wearing ears or clothing with logos on but I would consider something like a purse.

I didn't buy it at WDW, I bought it online..but I love my disney dooney purse! I'm not a fashion maven or an accessories person by any stretch, but I love my Mickey Balloon pouchette :)

I am a bit of a vintage Coach fanatic :thumbsup2(I won't tell you how many I own) but I also love D & B. Did you see any purses at WDW? I have seen them online at Disney Stores and wondered if the prices are the same. I would hate to have my mind set on a style and then find out they were sold out at WDW. I will have to check out that Mickey Balloon pouchette. Is it a cross body bag?

Yes, I have a couple and am planning on another this trip.

Each placement is different, so what you see on the website may not be what you get. Also, you most likely will not find the Mickey balloon pouchette at WDW anymore (I do not believe it is a crossbody). And prices are the same online as they are at WDW, but at WDW you can get the AP discount or the Disney Visa discount as well, I believe. I know you can get the AP discount at least!

There are multiple DDB groups on facebook - why not try joining one and see what you can find? Someone posted a balloon pouchette on my FP group just today in GUC (good used condition). You might get lucky and find your perfect purse!

I have 8 D&B Disney bags -- 3 of them were purchased at Disney World (the rest were purchased online at The Disney Store). Two were purchased at World of Disney at DTD and the other one was purchased at Uptown Jewelers at MK (I think -- it was a shop on the right-hand side of Main St. as you enter the park). I know they're available at several other gift shops throughout the parks and resorts. Not all of them carry the same bags/patterns, though. The last time we were there I was looking at them at World of Disney and didn't see any that I wanted. They were either the wrong bag or the wrong pattern for me. Then my husband found one he thought I'd like at the shop in MK and that's where I ended up buying it.

I like buying them in person because I can see the pattern placement (though that's not super important to me) and get a good feel for the size and functionality for me. I use a Disney D&B bag as my everyday bag at home, but ironically, I don't use one at Disney because I go bagless when we're there.

Yes! I have bought several- quality is excellent and there are fun designs. The one I carry daily is called Ddb charms I think. The design is subtle- but once people get it they love checking out all the classic characters. The investment in the purse has been a good one as I have carried it daily for over a year...

DH bought me the Walt Disney World one a little over two years ago. I have wanted one forever but would never part with the money.
He told me that trip that I was getting it. He had saved specifically to get me a purse. :lovestruc
I have used it everyday for over two years now and you can't see much wear and tear at all on it. It was costly. $300.00 but to use it nonstop for two years looking almost perfect, it was a great buy. Planning to purchase one next trip as well. I would love to have the It's A Small World one currently available online at Disney Store.

I got the original design at the Yacht Club gift shop when it first became available. DH got it for my birthday, along with the wristlet. Since then I have purchased several more for myself and daughter. They are really cute and well made.

Yes I have the 40th Anniversary one that I got for my wedding, a cross body bag, and 2 from DCL. Hoping to get another one this year. :goodvibes I enjoy wearing them at the parks or cruise, but also in my daily life when I want to Disneyfy my outfit even more. ;)

Yay!! I went on eBay to check out the Disney D & B purses. Some were more expensive than the Disney Store online, go figure. But I did see a very cool New Mint First Edition Disney Sketch Tassel Tote and I won it!! :dance3: I did get it authenticated first by one of the D & B authenticators on the Purse Forum so I am pretty happy. I got if for a great price I think since it probably retailed in the 300.00 range. I have no idea how old it is.
