dont want to scare the kids

Hi all, can anyone recomend a dvd that has Mickey & friends in real life size as they will be in WDW. I'd like to get the grandchildren used to seing them interacting with the real world before we go so it doesnt scare the life out of them.They just love the cartoons but to meet a 6ft mouse when your only 4
Dont want to go and spoil a great time so hope someone can give me some advise

DD was 4 when we first went to WDW and I was worried about meeting the characters as she always hid from the Thorpe Park Rangers and freaked out at anyone dressed up at the local shopping centre. But she had no problems with the Disney characters and wasn't shy at all. I think it helped that lots of other children around her were going up for hugs and photos, we watched from a distance at first but she was soon rushing up to the characters herself.

There must be some shots of chracter greetings on the trip planning dvd that you can get from Disney, but there are lots of photos on the internet that you could look at too. Here's a link to start you off

Actually the Mickey's I've met have been smaller than me and I'm only 5ft 4ins but still huge when you're a little child. Good idea to look at some web photos though. Good luck.

My granddaughter was just 6 and sensitive I grant you, but she freaked our when seeing the characters at Disneyland Paris! She went hysterical when Goofy came up behind us and then was distraught, nearly racing off in the opposite direction. We were trapped in a corner and she was screaming and wouldn't move! We had to be on 'bear alerts' after!!! If she could see character bears or dogs in the distance she froze. It was very difficult. Her 4 year old sister would have been fine, but joined in a bit, so the experience was not what we were expecting!! She did manage to approach Minnie and Belle though!
However, it did seem like every other child was absolutely fine with the characters so .

I sent for one months ago and received nothing as well. So, I ordered one from First Choice instead and it arrived within a week.
