We only want admission to the Magic Kingdom for one day, possibly 2 and that is it. We are spending the rest of our time at Universal, Sea World and other area Orlando, shopping, attractions. Can you get discounted daily tickets? Thank you!

If you are only doing the MK for 1 or 2 days -- you do not need "park hopper tickets". You need 1 day/1 park tickets.

Park hoppers give you the advantage of hopping from park to park on the same day. For example: start you day off at MK, then go to the AK and finish up the day at Epcot.

1 day/1 park tickets mean whatever park you start your day off with is the only park you can visit. You can leave this park and go back to your resort and re-enter but it has to be that park.

I agree that 1 day/1 park tickets are all that you need. In regards to the possibility of going for 2 days...when you purchase your 1 day ticket or before you leave the MK that day, you can inquire about purchasing a "bounce-back" ticket (may be called something else at your time of purchase). This will also only be a 1 day/1 park ticket (no park hopping allowed) and must be used with 4 days of the original ticket. It will save you only marginally, $5, but it is better than nothing. This type of ticket is only available at the gates, and can not be purchased in advance or over the phone.

If you go to DW alot, a Park Hopper isn't a bad idea....they never expire! So if you use 2 days this year, you can use the other days in the future.

I got 4 day park hopper tickets.....do I have to use them in consecutive days or in any order and or can I use anything left on them next year or year after.....I thought I had to use them in 4 days in a row, but now it sound slike I am incorrecto::MinnieMo

You can use them whenever you want. You can use 2 now, and 2 five years from now. They never expire.

it depends... how/where did you buy your park hoppers? if you have "ultimate park hopper tickets" that came as part of a package thru disney travel, then they do expire and are only good for the length of your stay on this one trip...

if you bought straight four day park hoppers, then they are good forever, do not have to be used consecutively, only have to be used by the same person...

convention tickets are a whole 'nother story!

Then it sounds as if you have your tickets in hand before your trip. If they were Unlimited Hopper Passes, they would be on your Disney Resort Room key.

So since I am 99% sure that you have regular park hoppers, they are good forever.

:)

I got reservations a month before I purchased park hopper tickets on line that they are mailing to me......so I guess they are good forever?

Yes, good forever. But if you are like many of us here, any unused days will "burn a hole in your pocket," and you will be back to Disney World sooner than you ever imagined. ;)

I was confused about it because when you start to order they always ask do you have reservations and when...what dates etc....so I was not sure how this worked, and my family likes to do MGM the first day because its a short day..part travel day...and then the next day do Universal...and I thought maybe we would have to do all four days in a row...so this will be great....it should be that way...I had to purchase 5 adults and 2 kids...mucho buckoes haha::MinnieMo

....can also be purchased at Guest Relations at your Disney resort where I'm sure the lines are shorter. We did this when we went to MK for 1 day (was supposed to be 2, but "Charley" had different plans!!)

My question was about 4 day hopper......I want to be sure I can use them on any day I want and not consecutively::MinnieMo

Are you asking again? :confused3: ANY hopper pass does NOT have to be used consecutively. Even convention hoppers which expire 10 days after the first use do not have to be used consecutively (AND lists the restrictions on the back of the pass.)

I hope that this helps. ::yes::

Well, someone mentioned ultimate hopper, and that threw me hahaha.....I believe I have my answer now..thanks for the help....as I understand it...the only way hopper tickets are to be used on certain days, is if you get a package....then they have to be used in that package dates....Im good thanks again::MinnieMo :Pinkbounc

This is what I planned on doing in Nov., since we're only going to have time for 2 1/2 days, this trip. We are going to MVMCP, one day then I wanted to purchase a one day ticket at either EPCOT or MGM. If I purchace a bounce back ticket, does it have to be used at the park I purchased it at? Ex. Since we're going to MVMCP on day 1, day 2 I want to go to EPCOT and day 3 I want to MGM. Will this be possible by purchasing a 1 day ticket and a bounce back?

Subsequent days on a Bounce Back pass can be used at any of the 4 major parks.

Just be sure that you don't ask for a Bounce Back pass (even though this is what we all call them here. ) They are now called 2 Day/2 Park, 3 Day/3 Park, etc. passes. If the CM is relatively new, they will not know what you are talking about if you ask for a Bounce Back ticket.

Hey Minnie!

Hope that I didn't sound snotty in the other post. I was just unsure if you WERE asking again, or were repeating what you already knew.

You've got that all right! The passes CAN be somewhat confusing. What you need to remember is that in almost EVERY case(don't worry about the exceptions now, they don't apply to you), park hoppers days can be used WHENEVER you want to use them. ULTIMATE hoppers (or UMPs) are tied to a Disney Resort Stay - you cannot get them without staying at a Disney Resort. Like you say, they are part of a package. They are good for EVERYTHING at Disney (which a regular park hopper is NOT), start wnen you check in and are good until midnight of the day that you check out. (There is an exception to this, but I am not going to discuss it here so as not to confuse anyone.)

:)
