If you really want a photo - have a stranger take your personal camera and take the picture you want. I had a family picture taken in front of all of the things (icons) that I really wanted to have. When I went to order them on disney photo pass they had all been deleted before the date they were to be deleted. I should have had strangers take those photos and I would at least have all of us in the picture. Sorry - just had to vent. I have a frame I bought at WDW with no family photo in it now.

man we had a stranger take two different pictures of us in front of the universal ball and both of them were so awful, they werent even worth saving :(

When we went in 2004 and this past July, we weren't overly impressed with the photos taken by the Photopass photographers. The pictures that we took with our own camera were way better than the ones they took. I am hoping they have improved because I do like the borders and the character they add to some pictures.

Hi
We used phtopass during our holiday last month, we found majority of photo's were good. We did not purchase any photopass photo's but instaed purchased the ph0to movie option which we were very happy with and would recommend to others.

The only thing I have heard against having strangers use your camera, is that I have heard of people running off with cameras that way. I had several cast members offer to take pics for us, that would seem safer to me. We had no major problems with our photos, and they kept extending the delete day on them. Most of them were really good, we ended up buying two, and the rest were very similar to what we took on our own camera.

I am so sorry this happened to you! :sad2: I would be really upset, too! Photos are a very important part of the trip!

We had such good luck with photopass pictures that I bought the CD at the Epcot Camera Center. We took full advantage of the photographers and ended up with 168 pictures on the CD. They were all really good, so we decided to purchase the CD and rights to print photos for $99 and will print them for our use. You do have to purchase the CD while you are there- it can't be done online.

We had great Photopass pictures, BUT, The one that I wanted most was lost, :sad2:
It was DH and I with Eeyore.. :eeyore:
I sent in the "lost picture" report, but it was never found..

1st you can check you days photo's at any photo shop on sight (this way if missing or not good you have time to get then retaken.

2nd They will take a pic with your camera as well as with their's if you ask so you get both.

I emailed photopass through thier web site and they were able to get my pictures back into my account even though they had been deleted.

I'm not sure if they will do that for everyone but I had over $100 in my cart and had to rush off to an out of town funeral. I offered them a copy of the death certificate. Got the email today that they would put them back in my account for 30 more days.

They may have been able to see that I had attempted to purchase my shopping cart but was unable to several times due to a bad connection.

Maybe you could email them with an explanation as to why you didn't purchase your pics before the 30 day period was up.

Good luck and keep us posted!
