Don't touch that! I need a picture first! TR - **NEW 04/17 PTR IS UP

Don't know how I missed your SEEDS tour but it was great !!I would enjoy it but I think the kids would be bored !!! Too much like school:lmao:

They did try to keep the little guy entertained but yes, I could see it get a little boring for those with short attention spans. It's a lot of information!

So the Pizza is good at Via Napoli !! As for the HOT ITALIAN I am jealous !! But where is th pix !!!:confused3:lmao:

I know!!! I can't believe I didn't get a picture of him. Oh well... next time. Won't let that mistake happen again! Because of course Rosie, you need a face to be able to hunt him down :rotfl2:

And here I thought the "Don't touch that" was going to be directed to the waiter who tried to serve you up the first slice. Bubba should know better by now! How long has she traveled with a trip-reportin' DISer?

:rotfl2: Queue the music! *bow chicka wow wow* :rotfl2:

Well, at least she "took one for the team" trudging on with her blister. No blister'd slow me down at Disney. (At least not on somebody else's foot. Amputate and let's keep moving!)

I actually considered that at one point.

I'm glad you liked the pizza, maybe I'll have to give that a try some day. I realize the appetizer was half-gone for the picture, but still, it looks a little skimpy for $6.

You really should! Just skip the appetizers and fancy drinks and you've got the perfect meal.

Thanks for the great review! :thumbsup2

I had the suspicion from looking at the menu, that it would be like you said: great pizzas, but stay away from the rest. I never got it why people would pay premium prices for a few slices of tomatow with mozzarella? I love the combination, but it is so easy to make yourself. Here in Germany it is an absolute classic which you would find on nearly any buffet. Unless it was restaurant which I trust to have real buffallo mozarella and excellent tomatoes, I wouldn't bother with it... :confused3 Ok, but then I might be a mozarella snob, because you can buy excellent (most often real Italian) mozarella in most higher-end supermarkets here in Germany. I sometimes wonder wether Germany does not eat more mozarella than Italy! :lmao:

Now I'm sold on Germany since they have amazing buffalo mozzarella too! It's true it's very easy to make yourself. I really should just buy a mozzarella ball and tomato. Then I could make my portion size the way I want it! I'm curious though now that we're on the topic of food, what is Germany known for as their signature dish?

I was suspecting from the beginning that your TR title had to do something with food porn. :goodvibes After four trips with food pictures, I know this situation too well!

It's essential for a DISer! There's thousands of people depending on you to document everything so it must be untouched. People around you will think you're nuts but it's all for a good cause.

The pictures are great! I had a few of those moments with Andrew too. But it was more of a...

Me: *takes a bite* Mmmm
Andrew: Don't you want a picture?
Me: Oh snap! That's right! *rotates the food* There, it looks good as new

:rotfl2: Sounds like a moment Bubba and I would have.

I really want to try that Margherita pizza! I've never even heard of such a pizza until the Dis and now it's the one pizza I've been dying to have.

If you go to an authentic Italian restaurant or pizzeria in Woodbridge, you're sure to find it on the menu!

I knew I should have hurried up my TR!!! I did the Seeds Tour too, and have many of the same photos. It was GREAT wasn't it??!!

That'll teach ya ;) It was really interesting! Do you have a green thumb?

I poked my head into Via Napoli too, and liked what I saw. Most, in fact, wasn't even pizza. Those ovens are WAY cool! I got a shot of them too. :thumbsup2

Speed it up on your TR woman! I want to see your pics too :goodvibes

great review! If I liked tons and tons of pizza sauce, that pizza would be great for me. I guess I'm just strange like that lol. I wonder where your ID is..?????

You're not strange! Everyone has different tastes. The I.D. situation was pretty interesting.... :rolleyes1

Glad you enjoyed the Italian food and the Italian waiter!

Oh I enjoyed him quite thoroughly ;)

I think I can imagine it, but what is the Beverly face?

You know the one where it looks as if you're gagging or just ate a bug? Yes, that's the face. I wish I had a picture handy....

It's too bad that Bubba got a blister especially early in the day.

Not even early in the day but so early in the trip!

The SEEDS tour looked pretty cool.
Your pizza looked sooooooo delicious! I don't know how ya'll decided on which dessert to order. Everything looked good in that dessert menu!
Those pizza ovens rock!

It was a tough decision but in the end, we just wanted something light. I think I need an Imagineer to design my kitchen when I finally get my own place.

Well, Italy is just around the corner and a very favourite holiday destination. So people want to eat the food at home which they loved during their holiday!! :goodvibes

Germany's signature dish??? That's difficult since Germany has a lot of very different regions and the cuisine in the north differs quite a lot from the south. Here in Bavaria I would say it is roast pork with potato dumplings and red cabbage. Not nearly as sexy as pizza or mozzarella and tomotoe if you ask me! :lmao:

And yes, I am sure that thousands really do depend on my food pictures!! :rotfl: I usually put mine into the food porn thread as well. :thumbsup2

I kinda forgot Italy is right there for ya! Not quite a hop, skip and a jump for us over here.

Put you on the spot there didn't I? I dunno.... pork and dumplings sounds totally sexy to me :rotfl: It sounds like a yummy signature dish though!

I never thought of that! I should venture outside of the TR/PTR threads once in a while

Woodbridge huh? I'll have to keep that in mind.

Yeah, man! Its Italy central! You shouldve (my apostrophe button isnt working for some reason) seen it around there when Italy won the World Cup in 2006. It was NUTS! And if youre ever looking for amazing gelato, go to La Paloma in Vaughan Mills. Delicious!

Well, here in Oregon, you really don't have to have much of one to get things to grow. Compared to Kazakhstan, yes, my thumb is like neon. :lmao:

I will try. But you know, with the holidays.... :santa::rolleyes:

The TR/PTR threads are a lot of fun, but there are some other really entertaining places as well! I also love the Old Parks Pictures thread and the Restaurants Inside (to which I have to post lots of pictures as well...). And then I am often amazed about the knowledge you can find here on the DIS! For example there is this Ticket thread (it is a sticky on the theme parks board) which is so detailed and answers any possible ticket questions, even those you did not even know to ask! :thumbsup2

Ho! Ho! Ho! Got all your christmas shop(lifting)ping done yet?

Oh cool! I would love to see the Old Parks pictures thread. Where is it? If you can post the link that would be great! It might bring back memories of when I went to WDW when I was 3 and 4.... if I can remember that much. That ticket thread also sounds good! Thanks Magdelene. I'll have to check those out.

Not trip related, but I just got news my cat passed away this morning. :sad1: She was 18 years old so she did live a long life. In her recent years, she had become an old crotchedy cat but even so, I'll still miss her.

RIP Susie :littleangel:

Jen, I am sorry that your cat died! 18 years is a long life and I am sure she knew that you loved her very much!

I'm so sorry about Susie

Sorry to hear about your cat Jen. Losing a pet is difficult no matter what age.

=( RIP Susie.

Thanks everyone :grouphug: As the day has progressed, it's really starting to sink in. Susie was in my life since I was 6 years old, right after my parents got divorced. You could say she's seen almost my whole life up until this point. I'll miss you Susie :sad1:

What a sad day! I"m so sorry you had to have this happen, even though she was 18- it's hard to lose a pet- even crotchety ones.

I guess you know the Disney Food Picture Thread?

On the Dining topic there is also the Restaurants Inside Thread and the Cake Gallery Thread.

the Old Disney Park Photos Thread and its equivalent for the hotels, the Vintage Resort Pics Thread and then there is the Vintage Ticket Media Thread.

Have fun! :goodvibes

Such a pretty kitty! So sorry for your loss, Jen!

Thanks again  I think it helped that I wasn't living at my mom's house where Susie was. That probably made it a bit easier to deal with her passing. Now I've been thinking of getting my mom a kitten for x-mas. The exact same calico colour. But I think my stepdad would shoot me. We still have another cat at the house!

Wow thanks Magdalene! If it's not busy at work today:rolleyes1, I'll have a look around

Oh, Jen, I'm so sorry. Its never easy to lose a pet, even when they've lived a good long time.
