Don't post toll free #'s

Sad but true. The toll free numbers that do exist are NOT meant for the public so as soon as one leaks out, it is only a matter of time until it too is disconnected.

I just wish Disney would make an online ADR booking system!!
 

Considering all I have is a cell phone now, it does'nt matter to me whether its toll free or not. I know a lot of people who no longer have their landline phones and I'm sure that will be coming all more common in the near future.
 
why do they connect right to the public CRO system. You get the same prompts message as when you call the 407 #. If the 800 #'s are for professionals only, why would it ask how many times you've been to the World and when. These are "customer" questions, not TA. Not trying to start an argument, just wondering.

All I can tell you is once they get posted they shut them down. So if you get lucky enough to get one, keep it to yourself.
 
other kind folk can tell us the new numbers. Disney can't win at this if they continue to have toll free numbers.

I don't like the idea of inequality as to some getting a toll free number and others not.

Or they can tell people who call they can't help them and give them the regular number as has been reported in another thread today.
 
I actually find it pretty surprising that Disney doesn't have toll free numbers ... pretty much everyone else does. :confused3

Agreed. I think they definitely should.. my cell phone doesn't get great reception in my house and so I have to call from my home phone.
 
Disney's marketing is so effective that they don't NEED to pay for us to call them.

Just for the record, they do shut them down -- eventually. The one I had a from over a year ago worked until the beginning of last month. The new one I have, posted a couple of months ago here as well, working as of five minutes ago.
 
I would think that they would notice quicker simply b/c people are CALLING those numbers, not b/c they were posted.

Every time someone says that early Jan is a good time to go, someone else takes a trip in early Jan... and I don't want that!..... how would that go over here?... just asking...
I thought the intent here was to share in helpful info, not just "I know it and you don't" stuff.

Share what you know, it will only help you in the longrun.

I don't understand why if it is just TA line, they do not require a TA number to be entered :confused3
