My DS and DD both recommend the Lefou's Brew over at NFL. Veeeeerrrryyy sweet

We had Grey Stuff at BOG

Slept in today since we closed MK at midnight. Sigh

Epcot today, Rose n Crown for dinner. Last full day today

Is it just me or did that seem to go by really fast? If it felt fast for me, and I'm just reading about it, it must have felt fast for you while you are doing it. Don't you wish we could wave a wand and just SLOW the vacation down? :wizard:

Enjoy your last day. Let us know how the Rose n Crown is. We have an ADR there this month and we haven't been there in years.

thank you, catho72. i just read those bad reviews, too, about five minutes ago, and was concerned. i guess i just need to prepare myself that BC club level is going to more closely resemble poly CL than the GF CL... and that's fine, i just need to mentally prepare for that.

we are booked standard view CL...i was going to request close to lounge when i do online check in. can anyone tell me if there is anything else i ought to be requesting? do all the CL rooms have some sort of balcony?

We had a SV room. My only request was a daubed since we have five people in our family. We were assigned room 5666. It was steps from the lounge and elevator and it was directly over the front entrance. We could see Spaceship Earth from our full balcony. Other people who have stayed in this room have reported being able to see Illuminations and Wishes from the balcony but we weren't in the room during those times. :(

I honestly don't know how many CL rooms have full balconies...I'm assuming most of them do. Family came with us and stayed CL and all three of our rooms had full balconies.

We had never stayed CL before so I have nothing to compare it to. All I know is that we LOVED it!

As far as I know, all of the CL rooms have some sort of balcony. A few have the smaller, Juliet balconies, but most have the larger ones. Just a rough estimate, but probably about 75% full balconies.

We're back home and getting unpacked. We had Room 3691 and the view was wonderful. We enjoyed the extra room also since princesses require lots of room for all their "things".

Highlight of our trip was 3 amazing dinners: Cape May, Ohana's and Teppan Edo. Worse dinner was Crystal Palace. It was good last two times we were there but after this week, we will never go back. Food tasted like college food!! Horrible, cold. Characters were rushed. Not good!!! Ohana's has improved a lot and Bob and Jeanne said for me to quick make a dinner reservation for when they are here in late December. I got lucky and found availability. We also booked lunch at Hollywood and Vine again. Food amazing and character interaction unbelievable! Lily is a water rat. Couldn't get her out of the water. We enjoyed SAB very very much! Food at Hurricane Hannah's has improved speed wise. It was quick and good.

I don't have time to go back the 25 pages I missed so if anybody needs questions answered that I might help with, please repost. I did find out refrigerators are all changed out so no worries there.

I'll be back to work Sunday ... just for one day ... then we have lunch with the Princesses at Norway on Monday. Jeanne and Lily leave on Wednesday. But I'm not too sad. Six days later and I fly out there to help Jeanne get the classroom up and running.

My heal spur didn't do well with all the walking since they have been here. I think it might be scooter time for when I do the parks. I can't live on pain meds and surgery isn't an option. Working two days a week on my foot is hard enough but add the parks and it's just not happening.

That's sad to hear about the Crystal Palace. We used to love it there, but we haven't been since the kids were very young. They both think they are too old for that character stuff...they are 12 and 7!

Thanks for the info about the fridges. Definitely makes things much easier for us to have one.

You know, my MIL lives in Clermont too. She's the lovely woman who is going to watch the kids for us at BC while DH and I have dinner at Chefs de France one night. She used to work at World of Disney, which was AWESOME while it lasted since her CM benefits benefited us greatly when DD was a little girl. Unfortunately, her health made doing such a job impossible for her after a few years. She still visits us when we do the parks though...she loves seeing the kids happy as much as I do. Probably more even......I think its a "Nana" thing. :)

Welcome back Teena! Was it weird trying to vacation where you work?

Will you be back at work after your travels before Labor Day? Was planning to say hello when we are staying at BCV the last week of August.

Yep, it's strange staying there but we've done it lots before. Let's face it, when you are going for the pool experience, where else can you go???

I'm working the following days: August 11th, August 18th, August 19th, September 1st and September 2nd. I'll be in Las Vegas with the girls August 20th to August 30th. Hope I get to see you!

Teena,
HA-HA , we just came back from room 3691 .........best room ever !!! Huge room, and HUGE balcony plus a second balcony that overlooked SAB.
We checked out on Monday 8/5 ........did you check in right after us ??? They delivered bed rails to our room before we even left ! ........now wondering if they were for Lily, LOL.
Sorry we didnt meet up on the day you were working. We were running around like crazy people trying to do everything that was left to do on Sunday before we left on Monday. Never did catch you in the lobby.
Anyway .........if anyone else is wondering I am pretty sure 3691 is the absolute BEST deluxe room at BC ..........its AWESOME !!!

Yep, they were for Lily. We used them to corral her in the daybed!!!!!

It is a beautiful room. Bob loved having his coffee on that large balcony and it was fun to watch the kids come down the slide from the standing balcony.

Hopefully during your next time at Y&B we'll be able to chat!

LOL, then I will apologize for our late check out request. Sorry if you had to wait for the room. :lmao:
They gave us a 1pm check out time, but I think we were out of there about 12 ish. Then we went down to beaches and cream for our "last meal" then sat in the solarium and waited for the ME bus .
It was a sad day. Until we made a hasty decision and booked the room only bounce back offer for October and the Food and Wine Fest.

Dang, if I knew it was you guys righjt after us, I could have stashed the TastyKakes in the room for you !

Hi Teena! Glad you enjoyed your time with Lily & Jeanne at the resort :) I do have a quick question for you...Are refrigerators all changed out at the YC as well, or were you referring to just the BC? Thanks!!

We have a reservation at Teppan Edo in Sept. did you bring your little princess there? Just wondering if my four year old princess will find it amusing enough to sit through? My husband and I can't wait to try, and my buoys are 9&10, so they'll be fine, just worry about her -she's busy!!

Teena: could you check something for me? I've been told repeatedly that the princess breakfast in Norway does not have Mickey waffles but emmysmommy had them in her trip report. Would you mind making a note as to whether they have them when you go next Monday? I have a picky eater who will not eat eggs, sausage or bacon and we have never been to that breakfast because if that. We want to take my niece next summer. :) Thanks!!

Here are a couple more pictures from the Princesses' trip.

I have added quite a few more to the Lily Goes Live thread (the pink link in my signature). New Pictures start on page 16. Please make any comments over there.

I was told the whole resort which means all the YC and BC and I think the Villas was not affected. But wherever they needed to be changed out, it's all done at the entire Y&C!!!

11 days...OMG..I can't wait!! IT's come so fast now! we came down this week to my family to stay for just over a week before we leave and grab my 15 year old sister to come with us :) She is sooo excited as well. She has never been! Soon we will be in SAB and strolling the parks! :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

The time will go quickly.... Have fun:beach:

Glad you had fun at SAB. I have always wanted to try Ohana. Maybe on our next trip.
