What's the DC? Thanks.
Discovery Cove. Shhh its offsite![]()
Natebenma- I usually use an ECV, issues with one of my legs, and I know that you've done a lot of the tours. Do you know if the Keys to the Kingdom tour allows ECV's? I'd love to see the utilidors!!!! I looked at the tour website and nothing was mentioned.
Do you remember seeing any wheel chairs or ECV's?
Well it's official we are not going . Probably for the best. One of the pups decided I needed a kiss tonight a d accidentally stepped on me a d boy oh boy was it painful. Staying home and having DH wait on me . Planning for F&W
From looking at the Be Our Guest list - You are not alone! Many of us feel like Santa checking our list twice, filling the "Florida" room (as mentioned before) with stuff you don't want to forget. Getting anxious with worries and excitement. My mouse on MDE says 3 days to go!
As for the connection, you should be ok sometimes. I have Sprint and I don't think they have proper capacity in some areas at DW. The Disney wifi is fine in the resorts, but I've not had the best luck in the parks. Hopefully they improve both. I did see my Sprint seemed a bunch better over by the Contemporary/Fort Wilderness last time.
I'm just getting on after a few days away from the boards. Couchy, I am so sorry for your terrible accident. Thank God you survived what must of been a terrifying experience!
Just think how happy you will be that you have an October trip coming up when the last day of your original August trip has come and gone!!
Thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery!

how terrifying. But glad you'll be ok and wasn't more serious. I hope the person stopped to help you. Glad puppies are unharmed. And you now havevF&W to look forward to.
get well soon.
Just getting or trying to get caught up, and was very sad to see your post.
Couchy, I am so sorry this happened to you & hope you will be on the mend soon. At least you can look forward to F&W.
I have been living vicariously through your updates. Have a safe trip homeHoly cow, just catching up on this thread.
Hope you get well quickly couchy! What a crazy thing to have happen the day before vaca ! At least you can start planning for F & W !!!
Wishing you a speedy recovery !

I believe I have updated the Be Our Guest list with all the new listings and changes. Please take a moment and look to see if I have your information listed correctly.
Please note that if you haven't provided exact dates, you will be at the top of the list for that month.
Post 15: Be Our Guest list
Let me know if you see something that should be changed.
Thanks!
Double ouch, Couchy! I do love my doggies when I'm sick or injured, though. They are nice healers and a good comfort!
I have a question about friendship boats. How early in the morning do they start running? If we want to get to DHS for RD, should we just walk instead of relying on the system? Running of the dads for FP and standby time to TSM is our favorite pasttime there![]()
I've posted but I think I was squashed by all the other posters.
Can you add me to the BOG?
Augst 19-21 Yacht Club CL
Just ate lunch at Beaches and Cream waiting for the ME bus to drag us kicking and screaming back home ! Lol . Sad day !
On a positive note, just booked the Bounce Back room only offer for the Food and Wine Festival ! 30 % off mods works for us ! 3rd year on a row for F & W!!
We are staying at CBR next trip because we finally visited the resort during this trip and fell in love with it ! Trying to stay on more of a budget for this impromptu trip in October for F & W . I hope we will like it as much as BC , but without the price tag lol !

Well, I'm not Dee (Natebenma), nor do I play her on TV, but...... we did the Keys to the Kingdom tour this past June and there were two people in wheelchairs in our group. There are elevators to take you up, or down, both at Columbia Harbour House (lunch stop - upstairs seating area) and to access the utilidors. They took us on two attractions (Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion) and used a wheelchair accessible boat on the Jungle Cruise. One person opted not to ride Haunted Mansion because it would have difficult for him to get on the ride. I'm sure you wouldn't have a problem using an ECV. It was a great tour and I highly recommend it.
Would you please sprinkle some of that Bounce Back pixie dust my way?I'm really hoping we luck into one when we check into BC in October. I managed to snag one during our POR stay last year and it netted huge savings - 40% off at the Poly.
I'd love to make a 3rd visit to F&W / MNSSHP myself next year, and that Bounce Back offer would go a long way to making that happen!
Sorry you're one your way home today, but sounds like you've had a great trip.![]()
I think somebody asked about getting from Discovery Cove to Yacht Club. (I can't find the post, so I can't quote it.)
In March 2011 I took a cab from Sea World to Beach Club. It cost $23 plus tip.
Isn't DC right next to Sea World? If yes, I would think the cab fare would be similar.
Our fridge was there and working. Same old refillable mugs
