Was wondering where you went to in the Hudson Valley as that's where I live? The Woodstock area actually, which often seems like its a fake Hollywood scene lol. Really it is quite beautiful.

We were based in Tarrytown/Elmsford area. Visited Walkway over Hudson, John Jay Homestead, Rockefeller Nature Preserve, Ossining (fictionalized as Sleepyside in the Trixie Belden series).

Every time we have gone to SAB, the guards have had readers to check KTTW or Magic Bands. You should not need both.

We hurried back from Epcot ahead of the storm tonight -- beat it to YC by about 5 minutes.

At SAB, we've only used bands, but my son and I were waved in yesterday by two frustrated (although they were cheerful about it) CMs who couldn't get the band reader to work in their location due to reception problems.

We've had a second serious band problem, and now my son has two bands to use in case the first one continues to act up. He's thrilled -- one for each arm! So if you see an 11 year old with both red and grey bands, well, that's us!

I'm not qualified to answer coffee questions, but the packets in our room say Jofferies (or whatever). We do have a working fridge, too. Sorry if I missed any other questions -- trying to skim so many pages each night when I'm tired isn't working well for me!

Another Hudson Valley resident here!! I'm in Putnam County. Just returned from BC. Pulled into driveway yesterday 5pm. Since I did the driving (both ways) I just collapsed when I got home. I'm not even unpacked. I pulled clothes out of my luggage for work tomorrow. Lol. I know I have some posting to do soon about our trip now that I'm not park hopping or have an ADR to get to.

I grew up right near the Church Avenue Station on the F line - lots of good memories of the best neighborhood (IMO) in Brooklyn.

I'm about a mile from Newkirk Plaza... actually inbetween the B/Q and the F lines... the area is nice but my heart is in Texas where my daughter is now.. 391 days and I'll be moving there!!!

I think somebody asked about getting from Discovery Cove to Yacht Club. (I can't find the post, so I can't quote it.)

In March 2011 I took a cab from Sea World to Beach Club. It cost $23 plus tip.

Isn't DC right next to Sea World? If yes, I would think the cab fare would be similar.

Thank you, it was me. Not sure how close SeaWorld is to DC (I know they offer a free shuttle between). But on the 20th I'll be getting taxi from SpringHill Suites SeaWorld hotel to start my stay at YC so thank you for the info on prices

Good morning! Yes, someone takes your drink/food order at your lounge chair or table. Then, it's all magically delivered to you. You'll find once you order, they will ALWAYS return, frequently, to ask if you would like another. Quite nice.

I don't really have an answer for you (I use a Window phone, and I don't post pictures from it)

but I think the general idea is:

You need to upload your pictures to a photo storage/sharing site, like Photobucket. There is an app for that.

Copy the IMG link associated with that photo.

Open DISBoards app and paste the code for the picture into your post.

Does anyone have any other instructions or revisions to these steps? Is there an easier way?

I'll add this to the "How do I" in Other Useful Info post 14 on Page 1.
