I know it's a long way off but I'm super excited We did a big birthday trip for my older daughter's 7th at the GF and decided to do something similar for our youngest since our whole family is a little disney crazed 7th Birthdays are a big deal ya know! Well, her choice was BC! I have us all booked and ready to countdown Many thanks to Disney's continued Military Salute offers... it's definitely given us awesome memories in between deployments these past years This will be our first time at an Epcot resort... leave it to the youngest to change things up on you! Can't wait!!!

Hope you like the BC as much as we do. Thanks for your family's service to our country.

I have a question....
We're staying at BWI in December, but surely will be touring the Christmas decorations at BC and YC. We might not make it over until later at night (11:30-ish). Will everything still be lit up? Carousel turning? Music playing etc? Or does that stop at a certain time?

We are in the teens now, 18 days...DD13 gets her braces on this morning.

I remember when I had braces, hope her experience is much better than mine. That and I hope I don't have to nag her about taking care of them...I have to nag her sister ALOT lately about taking her asthma medicine!!!!

The carousel (gingerbread/chocolate) is on a timer. It goes around for four hours, then off for one, on for four, etc. The piped in music in the lobby never shuts off as far as I know. I've never been there at midnight. The carousel very well may shut off all night (maybe midnight to five or something like that) but I have no idea. I just know during the day it is on a timer. One year we shut it off all night and ran it all day and after a few days the motor burned up.

I know the train running at the Yacht Club is off and on too ... mostly off as far as what guests tell me.

I'm not sure what I spent more money on, our week at the Beach Club or the Taylor Swift concert last night at Gillette!!!

Whatever house T. Swift builds next I paid for something in it!!!

We missed you! The place we went to was mildly reminiscent of Crew's Cup, so it was a perfect setting!

Thanks Teena! Actually, I'd prefer a quiet lobby late at night for photos and just looking around without all the hustle and bustle. Also, we have an ADR for Sunday, Dec. 8th at Cape May at 7:50 A.M., so expect us to stalk you in the lobby before and after.

Thanks. Report back please on how it went. I am contemplating this with my 5 month old for an upcoming trip.

I did a photo shoot with my family back in 2008 and loved it. We got a ton of pictures and had a great time. After our shoot when we were looking at the photos we noticed a problem with some of them. They think it wad a problem with the camera and it also affected other shoots. We got to shoot more pictures!! And this was when it cost a whole lot less than it does now. Still a great bargain, I highly recommend doing a shoot at the BC. If I can figure out how to upload the photos on my phone I will share some.

I have 2 in braces and they were sore first couple if days but have been fine since! . Just stay away from sticky foods. Have to constantly remind them if this.

I agree. Although my DH always says so she dates all these guys who break her heat, there is one factor that remains the same- Taylor. Ha ha. Oh well. I still love her and hope she stays even keeled as well!
