Same here - duckling!

P.S. wlake, thanks so much for the offer to send the running link - I actually have it and it's really helpful! Feel free to send along any additional tips as you think of them! :)

I'm glad I remembered to message you! I couldn't remember if I did or not -- I try not to think too hard in the summer, and it shows sometimes! :)

Ok, I found it. I think I will request courtyard view and it will get me where I want to be, on the closer areas to BC and the walkway although I don't know if I'm sacrificing a pretty pool/canal view for this. Anyone stayed in the yellow/red areas and thought it was an ok view? (I know none of the BCV views are stunning)

1) The Pool View rooms all look over the quiet pool. All of these rooms are even numbered (but not all even numbered rooms have this view).

2) EPCOT views all have a view towards the park. Some have a view of Spaceship Earth and some have a view towards World Showcase- with an opportunity to see the Illuminations fireworks. These rooms face towards the roadway to BWV, but have reasonable landscaping blocking much of the traffic. Traffic noise may be apparent from the room balcony, but should be minimal from inside the villa itself.

3) BC Courtyard/Epcot Views look out on the nearby Beach Club. The lower floors will have a view of the resort and the surrounding landscaping. Upper floors (4 and 5- possibly 3) will likely have a glimpse of some Epcot structures and most all should have a glimpse of the Illuminations fireworks.

4) BC Courtyard/MGM/BW Views look out on the nearby Beach Club. The lower floors will also have a view of that resort and the surrounding landscaping. Upper floors (4 and 5- possibly 3) will likely have a glimpse towards BW, Swan, Dolphin and Disney/MGM Studios. From the 5th floor (possibly the 4th also), you may be able to see ToT, Earffel Tower (at Disney/MGM) and Blizzard Beach in the distance. There is also a view of Epcot’s American Adventure Pavilion and France’s Eiffel Tower. The Illuminations fireworks are NOT visible, but the sound is very evident and the explosion flashes are very apparent.

In this BCV map:
1) is Blue
2) is Green
3) is Red
4) is Yellow

The red area of the map is my favorite, since I like looking at the woods. The green area is my least favorite because of the road noise.

Thank you! This is VERY helpful, I love woods as well, so that's where I will request. Would the red area still be considered "courtyard" or would you call it just woods?? :confused3

the buses usually only share bewteen yc and bc, with yc being picked up first. From the bc it is a direct ride to the park. On the return trip, yc would be dropped off first.

There are times when a bus will share with bwi, swan and dolphin, but that doesn't happen very often.

thank you!!!

Does anyone know the minimum age to be a passenger on the Sea Racers? My daughter is 6 and I am wondering if she can ride one with my husband driving. Thanks!

Hello,
I checked in to Beach Club yesterday, water/lagoon view, 2nd floor and I have a brand new refrigerator. Bellman noted to me that they were swapping out and that mine was new. He said most if not all were already switched out at the resort. Not sure if thats true, but it is what he said.

Awesome!!! Have a wonderful trip! :-)

Question for September BC folks: has anyone been invited to do Magic Bands/FP+ yet?

Our youngest son is 6 years old, and was a passenger on a sea raycer in January of this year! Very fun! Our then-12-year-old was old enough to drive by himself, but not tall enough. Our then-13-year-old was old enough and tall enough to drive by himself and LOVED it.

Thanks pixarmom sounds fun!! (Sorry dont know how to quote on my phone)

I am trying to plan a few things we have never tried so this will be perfect to add to the list. Of course i say that every trip and end up not wanting to leave the parks or the pool.

What is the height requirement? I only ask because I have a very short 13 year old...

A friend is there right now @ Disney & somehow, they were notified that they'd be participating in the Magic Bands thing..looks pretty cool!!

It would be considered a garden view if it was for a room in the Beach Club. The villas are handled differently But I would just request a woods view closest to the Epcot entrance or something like that.

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it :banana::banana::banana: I'll be ORL for a couple weeks on business so my mom is flying down over the weekend and we are booked at the Beach Club :cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

:yay:Please add us to the list for Aug2 - Aug 4th :yay:

This mom/daughter trip will be for relaxing at SAB on a lounge with a book, late breakfast at Kuzzina's and Illuminations from the bridge

At the time, it was 12 years old and five feet tall:

I can only read that because I can zoom in on my photos using iphoto!

TY for that!!! She is not 5' tall...so it won't be an option.

ETA: my mother (67) isn't even 5' tall!!!!

Not yet, kinda hoping we don't get it either. I'd prefer for them to break after this August test so they assimilate" their data and roll it out/test more after we leave.

The mini session is $150 and it's 20 minutes. I figure that's about as long as we'll be able to get them to listen and be calm for ;)

Thanks. Report back please on how it went. I am contemplating this with my 5 month old for an upcoming trip.
