We actually tweaked our trip a bit to take advantage of better airfare deals.

October 31-November 2: AKL CL
November 2-9: BC

Oy...10 days left, and I'll be spending 5 of them (evenings anyway) hanging out in various theaters, as one kids show wraps up, and another starts...the shirts I thought I was ridiculously early starting 2 months ago? Still not done...yeah...Neither are the shoes I started 3 months ago...

Doe anyone know if BC/YC offer a discount on 2nd room when booking 2 rooms? Thinking ahead to 2014 (and thinking wishfully most likely) and reckon if anyone knows the answer it's you guys

I just booked 2 rooms at BC for October & the only discount I got was my AAA one. Nothing for booking a 2nd room.

One month until our first trip!!! We can hardly keep the excitement contained! Change of plans... We are staying CL at BC!!!! Ahhh too much to do! Love this thread, thanks for all of the great useful information and suggestions. They have truly helped me plan this very memorable first trip.

Is this true??? I can add someone as a day guest to my CL room for $25 a day. And once I get to the resort pay the additional room charge I can have them added to magical express too for thier flights. Honestly that just seems too easy???!

I figured my Dis friends would have accurate info.... Cm's sometimes make me nervous

Great question!!! I know I have heard that about regular rooms, but never thought about if the same charge applied for CL day guests.

Also waiting for an informed response from someone who has done this.

Does anyone know?

If I check in on CL at the BC right after checking out at the YC, can I get coffee in the lounge?

Staying CL, you will have access to the lounge as soon as you check in and until midnight of the day you check out.

What shows are your kids doing?

They are doing a youth musical called The Return of Halley's Comet- shows are this weekend, and I've been roped into doing a lot of stuff with costumes and last minute props during their rehearsals. Monday and Tuesday are auditions for Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (which is non-musical).

We have been going to the YC since the first year it opened Nov 1990. We just fell in love with it! When we first started going there was no Boardwalk just an empty field.

I can't believe I am typing this....

So, I won a contest with a cash prize. Not huge but enough for the following news (DH insisted)...

I can't believe I am going back. But the prize covers the room cost, already have AP's and Southwest flights on my points... I was nervous about going back so soon but DH says "why not" . I gave him a list of reasons and he says... why have an AP if you are not going to use it This trip will only cost food OPP and drinks , but with TIW that should not be too bad

We're staying at YC for the first time, next month. We are moving to POR for a part of our trip. I know bell services can transfer our luggage, but what exactly is the protocol at YC? Should we take the bags, ourselves to bell services on the morning we transfer? Do they prefer we call someone to come to the room and pick them up? Is this something we need to arrange in advance or can we just call the morning of?
Not our first trip, but our first split-stay. Just want to be sure we do it right. Thanks for any advice.
