I know you save $95, but I'd wait until Dec trip for new AP. then you'd have an extra 4 mos on it which may be more valuable than $95! Then you can go back in Dec 2014 prior to APs expiring.... My AP will expire in May 2014 & I was not a big fan of may so thinking of waiting to renew with a fall trip. Thoughts?

We did this. Ours expired 12/26/2013 and I waited until may to get new ones. I knew we would do a 4/2014 trip

Had a super last day at WDW with Jeanne and Lily. Pics coming courtesy of Dee. Tomorrow is packing day and then they fly home to Vegas on Wednesday. It was a super 15 days!!!! Watching Lily with the characters was absolutely priceless. The love she has for them is precious! It's Disney Magic for sure.

THREE. MORE. SLEEPS.

Kids still have no clue. DS is a smart little fella, so he's deduced that we are going somewhere this week, but he thinks it's only Toronto. Little does he know...

And now the big news (drum roll please!) I got a MAGIC BAND email this morning! For both our Pop stay AND our YC stay! Pop is one night, just to lay our heads, so we won't be getting them for that one... Unfortunately since they are putting us in the test so late, the bands are gunmetal grey and unable to be customized. Oh well, just going to have to buy all that stuff to decorate them!

I couldn't book any FP+ because I haven't linked my UCT tickets to my reservation. I called Disney tech support and she says that they are having trouble with that. She says that CL staff can do it. Our friends also go their Magic Bands email, and they have a package, so apparently they can make all their FP reservations, and when we check in, they will give us the exact same FPs. YAHOO!!! She said that CL staff can do it all (and that since this is a test, it would be good practice for them). I'm following this up with an email to IPO. Plus my friends are too busy to do the FP+ reservations, so they are giving me their user name and password and I get to do them (which I'm excited about. LOL) Then I will update our touring plans. And work. And clean. And pack secretly. And do laundry. And look after dog and one kiddo (one is with my sister, having a ball out west). And possibly have a mental breakdown!!!

So, we won't know until the last second whether or not the other dad is even going. He sent his passport to the Chinese Embassy yesterday by courier. What are the chances he will get that back for him to fly on Saturday???? Slim to NONE I would say. So, DH will be vacationing with two women and four kids! He's pretty zen about it, I must say. What a guy. LOL

Fun! I hate to say something not entirely kind about the YC CL staff because they are very nice, but you may want to go to the concierge desk in the lobby if the FPs are really important ones. The YC CL folks asked at check in if we had any questions and then visibly relaxed when we said no. I'm sure they've learned lots since then, but they were nervous at the beginning. If you have problems, Jimmy (downstairs) is your man. Don't tell him I sent you -- I suspect the poor man cheered when DH and DS checked out!

So today was the day to begin booking F&W things...I gave IPO the 2 things I wanted to attend with all the cards that could possibly get me a discount (ap, dvc, tiw and disney visa)... they booked the 2 events and emailed me with the cost and confirmation numbers. I emailed them back and asked what the discount was... well according to them there was no discounts! So they gave me the number to call and low and behold NO DISCOUNTS!!! Discounts are now only given for things done Monday-Thursday... Sweet Sunday's is ONLY on a Sunday!!! So one more thing Disney is cutting back on! That's a big 15% that is now lost!

Ok I've vented feeling better!!

I'm impressed that you have kept your trip a secret!! I'm not sure I'd be good at that... I find it hard to keep Christmas gifts a secret! Have a great trip!!

Not any kind of guarantee, but a few years ago I meet up with my sister and her family in mk before Dh arrived. We didn't have any adr and just figured we would do a qs meal. They had adr's for liberty tree and we were having such a great time together they invited us along. When they checked in they said the party size was now 9 instead of 4. They didn't even blink an eye. Might be able to do the same for bog.

We use one of the little waterproof cases you can buy at the gift shops or waterparks. We use it at waterparks too. On a string that you wear around your neck.

Thought I'd share with my YC/BC friends that there are TONS of ADRs available for Be Our Guest thru the end of August. We arrive on Saturday and I could have scored multiple times for any day next week! I'm sure they will go fast....

Did you show them your "Buzzy The Fly, Discount Guy" card? Use that card and you can get 50% off of retail from merchandise that fell off of the back of a truck in Brooklyn.

There are many ways, some of which will be discussed here, but I wanted to tell you what my old Grandma Ninja did when she went swimming back in the 1920's. Actually she did this with everything, whether she was swimming or not....

She just put her valuables away in her bra.

This works for just about everything except tissues, and Old Grandma Ninja had a LOT of tissues in her bra if you get my drift Rumor has it she was descended from a long line of Swedish ironing boards.

I bought 'dry pak' holders for our cell phones last year and they did well at the water park (amazon). We kept our room key card in it to. You can wear it around your neck. I didn't want to leave our smart phones at the chairs.
