DON'T order pins from marcimouse !!

I keep looking at his feedback to see what auctions the buyers are leaving feedback for.
If it's any consolation the last one to leave feedback on the 20th bought pins on Nov 2nd; so hopefully the pins will be here soon for us.

I sent a money order for 50 pins that I bought through us pm'ing each other. Last Tuesday she did PM me to say she will let me know when the MO arrived. I will let you know if I hear from her.
 
Received an Email just now. Seems she was on vacation, and the person she left to ship was very ill. She even sent me delivery confimation. Hope everyone else hears good news soon.

I received an email today also. Same story - she was on vacation. She said all packages had been mailed but she needed my name and address to verify. ????? I sent her my email from the original bid ("Ask the Seller a question") so she should have all the information based on my winning the bid ????? Oh well, hopefully pins are on the way. I'll let everyone know when I get mine.:wave2: :wave2:
 
I got the same e-mail tonight about her being on vacation...personally...I don't buy it at all ! Especially if someome has had contact with her during the time she was on "vacation", If you can't take care of business, then don't put things up for auction and tell people items have been shipped ! I think we should all pull together and leave her neutral feedback at best to protect others from this seller ! Nobody should be ignored or wonder if they have been scammed !!!!
 
I cant believe she has such good positive feedback!! If I took that long to ship my items I would be the one to have everyone leave negative feedback.. :p If it was me I would be concerned the people would leave negative feedback
 
oh poohbear believe me even if I got my package today (which I didn't) she would not be getting positive feedback. I must admit I believed the story when I heard it....lol now I have doubts thanks a lot :)

We will see.

I think the only reason she sent those is she is a member here or someone let her know what was being said here.There is no way I would leave positive feedback,It is Ridiculous.

She may be within ebay's guidlines, but I think she is an awful seller. Poor communication, lack of concern for her buyers and a "let 'em wait" attitude. I would follow the OPs title advice and NOT buy from this lackluster seller.

I totally agree with this. This is how sellers get a bad name. Also, and I could be wrong, but I do not believe the vacation story. It sounds like the made up stories I usually get from non-paying bidders. A good seller would never trust his auctions to anyone else. If you go on vacation, you make sure your auctions end well in advance and that everything is taken care of well before you leave.

Well I finally got my shipping information from her this morning. It seems my items were shipped on Saturday the 20th (purchased on Wednesday the 10th), so hopefully I will get them soon. In the same email she made a "comment" about my stating on the boards that I did not believe she was on vacation. Funny, if you read my postings I never said I didn't believe the story. I was getting pee-ode because I couldn't get a straight answer about when/if my pins were shipped which automatically gives a bad vibe when you get the run around.

I also received another email which was obviously sent to numerous other people which shows pictures of a Disney vacation. She mentioned that she had no cell phone access on vacation so she did not know about the mess with her eBay purchases until she returned.

Oh well, will post when I receive my pins.

Question to you experienced eBayers - I noticed on her feedback page, on the tab "left for others", that she left feedback for other people on almost every day during her vacation period. If you are on vacation and obviously don't have access to your AOL email, how do you leave feedbacks? I'm not being a smart a--, I'm really curious on this one.
 
Just wanted to mention that I had a problem with a buyer a few months ago and I had paid with paypal.. It had been right at a month and I still didnt have merchandise that I paid for right when the bid ended and numerous emails unanswered.. I went to paypal and listed a complaint.. Got my stuff right away after I did that!!..

Personally I think its ridiculous that people have to hope their stuff is on its way when they paid for it!! Obviously if someone paid for it, they want it otherwise they would have gone thru the trouble of buying it.. What is wrong with people?? :confused: :mad:

You can access your e-mail and your e-bay account on any computer...... BUT..... Would any of you put things up for auction when you're going on vacation ?????? especially if you were going on vacation for 2-3 weeks ??? I paid for my items on the 5th ! That was 19 days ago... there is NO excuse for such neglegent service AND if she did have access to her E-mail, WHY didn't she answer anyone who has been E-mailing her ????? If she had the time (while on vacation ) to check email, leave feedback etc...... then she DEFINATELY had the time to answer people who are doing business with her !! BY THE WAY>>>>> I still have NOT received my Pins !!!!!!!!

She could have her account set up to automatically leave positive feedback once her buyers have paid via paypal. I have the option to do this with my preferred Selling Manager account.

This new policy will do nothing but cause grief for both buyers and sellers. There is no way my items get to people within 7 days of the auction closing. 17 Days is ridiculous for surface mail or International transactions where customs is involved.

Just wanted to add this new policy is supposed to open up communcation between buyers and sellers if they haven't heard from each other within 7 days. However the way Ebay is presenting it is making it look like if you don't get your item in 7 days you can start filing all kinds of claims.

I guess most on this board assume the worst immediately

so to explain

I went on vacation - disney had a pin cruise - a villians pin cruise that i reserved last year on their last pin cruise. it was a pin event on a pin cruise. sorry you werent aware of this.

i have no other excuse and am not trying to excuse what has happened.

I set up a friend to handle the 7 auctions that were scheduled to close during my trip. and he was also going to handle any payments that came in for buy it now items out of my ebay store (which are not auctions and were not scheduled to close until the end of the month)

i left thinking everything was fine - got on a boat where there is no cell tower at sea and that was it.

i did not PM (i dont even know what PM is) anyone while I was away - I didnt even email friends - the disney cruise charges $40 to go online for the cruise - I didnt think necessary to pay that when I was trying to take a vacation from it and had a friend working at my house covering the shipments for me.

i did not respond to any feedback or list any new auctions during that time at all - I use ANDALE.com - they post automatic feedback rotating between 5 different cute comments for anyone posting feedback for me. I have nothing to do with it.

I also use PAYPAL.com - they offer an instant winner notification to contact the buyer immediately (within the first 3 days) as contact to the buyer.

with the amount of items listed in my store = i use these so the buyers have a faster process instead of waiting for me to send emails of how to pay and then waiting for me to post all of the feedbacks (about 200 per week) -

one mistake on my part that happened this month - and all of a sudden it is a bashing session with non-truths and wrong assumptions.

again, I know it was a mistake on my part, and I shoul dhave had another friend lined up in case the first got sick - i just thought I had my bases covered.

i got home and began checking emails and found out about it - and immediately started to respond by statting I was away... It had nothing to do with lies or deceit or trying to make up something to appease 6 people on a message board.

my apologies for being human and making unforgivable mistakes

You know what, I could TOTALLY accept the fact that someone might be gone on vacation or maybe something unthinkable happened, or someone was sick..... but 19 days ??? I don't buy the fact that you had no communication with anyone for 17 days (which is finally when I received an E-mail), there is no bashing going on, we are all concerned for your lack of communication, I would not put items up for auction and then leave town knowing I would be gone for 17 days ! Put yourself in your buyers shoes....hmmm 17 days, no pins, no answer to E-mails... never notified you would be gone and there might be a delay in shipping etc.... it's just inconsiderate !!!
