....Know that you have the option to book them into RCI and will have 2 years to use them at other resorts, which is better than losing them altogether.
I have an August use year and the Member Service Rep just told me I can book all 129 of my 2018 points into RCI now if I want to and then if they decide to extend the expiration of those points out 6 months and I want to use them, I can remove them from RCI and use them to book DVC within the allotted time frame for those points.
NOTE: I had a May reservation that was canceled due to Covid-19. I don't think they will allow this unless your reservation was affected by the closure.
