Don't leave home without...

Hand wipes, camera and cell phone charger, pens, scissors, nail file, band aids, post card stamps and addresses, extra bag to carry souvenirs home on the plane, antacids and other meds, snacks (for the parks or just to have something to eat at 11 pm in your resort room).... hmmm... I'm sure I'll think of more- but these are things I've forgotten in the past and missed having.

Tums (especially if you do free dining and eat a bunch of stuff you normally don't!), band aids, neosporin + pain relief (awesome for blisters!), advil, children's tylenol if you have kids, solarcaine, sunscreen, immodium, sun hat and/or sun glasses and a mister! The misters at WDW are about $13 each...but you can buy these at Walmart for much less! :wizard:

My toothbrush charger. I hate brushing with it when the battery is dead(sonic) It just doesn't make them feel very clean. Ipod charger. SPLENDA I am a big splenda user and you don't always find splenda everywhere. I keep the little splenda pills in my purse. Gum... no gum sold at Disney. Xtra contacts.... and glasses for when you take them out. Oh and detangler spray we use to help with our hair......My hair goes crazy in Florida.

I know it's been mentioned but I always forget my PJ's

The one thing that I was SOOO happy that someone said on her b4 my trip, which I have already packed for our up coming trip is a power strip--I know that I have a lot things that need to charge @ the same time so it was a life saver.

Benedryl. My DS's friend came with us and he woke up one morning and his top lip was 3xs normal size. No bite mark, nothing to tell us what happened. His mom told me he wasn't allergic to anything so it was benedryl to the rescue.

We leave in the morning! I am sure I am probably forgetting something. I packed 4 people (DH packs himself) and I did it all tonight. I figure if I did forget anything they probably have it there somewhere! I actually haven't packed the toothbrushes as we will use them in the morning. I probably will forget those!

Sadly I actually forgot my tennis shoes on my honeymoon! Somehow they didn't make it from the bride's dressing room back into my bag for the trip. Hubby thought I was crazy, and we spent our first night at the sporting goods store in Downtown Disney.

Oooooo, good one! Just added power strip to my spreadsheet. Thanks!:)

Okay here's some stuff to remember that I usually want to have and use each time, some mentioned already but I'll include them anyway:

*camera
*batteries and extra batteries, battery charger(best way to go, saves lots of money if you camera eats up batteries when taking lots of pic like at Disney!)
*memory card and an extra one(very expenseive at Disney)
*cell phone and charger
*gum(don't sell it at Disney)
*scissors, tape
*band-aid blister block and their Band-aid Blister Band-aids(exact name?), just in case, they work great(I never use moleskin after a very painful experience once, and these work great even as prevention!)
*a few different sizes of ziploc bags
*laptop and charger(to stay in touch with the Dis!)
*power strip for your chargers(not enough, or easy to reach, outlets in room)
*any prescription meds along with things like tylenol/advil, rolaids, etc.
*a couple pairs of shoes
*phone #'s of people you may need to contact, plus addresses and emails, plus stamps if you to send postcards
*make up bag and any personal toiletries for each person
*bathing suits(sometimes we forget in the colder months)
*sunscreen, lotion, sunglasses
*remember to check baggage measurement, and weights and allowable carry-ons
*rain ponchos, coats, sweatshirts, jackets(whatever is necessary depending on time you go!)
*antibacterial soap or wipes to bring to parks
*to carry on any liquids, remember to pack what you'll bring in a one quart size ziploc bag, this even includes make up such as mascara or foundation, check appropriate sizes allowed, if you have medicines, check sizes, and exact requirements or allowances
*bring a set of clothes and anything that's must have in case you don't get your luggage right away or have to spend a night before it shows up
*homework if kids out of school and need to do work while at Disney
*tickets for parks or parties you may have, or want to use from past trips to finish them up
*all written plans, binders, ressie info and #'s, a copies of emails of room info
*ID, credit card you made resort ressie with, cash, disney dollars, disney gift cards, travellers checks
*all airline info and tickets

Sorry the list is so long, lol! :rotfl: Hopefully it is somewhat helpful. I hope you have a wonderful trip! :goodvibes

Bathing Suits!

Yes we have forgotten to bring out swimsuits, which were both impartive to swim, and to ride the various water rides in the world!
It was not fun dropping the cash on new bathing suits.

If you are going to the water parks and someone in your party wears board shorts, bring RASH CREAM!!!!

I went last month and man, i had the biggest rash on both of my thighs. couldn't walk straight the next day. i had to go to a local walgreens and buy some so bring it before!

Calamine lotion or some sort of anti-itch topical cream. For some reason, the bitey bugs just love me. I forgot to bring medication once, and it is now one of the first things to get packed. I don't want to live through that again!

Someone picked up my son's towel at the pool and he had his glasses inside, so he lost his glasses and his shirt so thankfully we had his spare pair..and I too forgot underwear when we went last time:confused3..guess I was worried more about forgetting something for the kids.. so, don't forget spare glasses/contacts and underwear

I saw sunscreen listed, so you don't burn... but don't forget the aloe for when you DO burn, anyway.
