Okay, while looking at the emh information, it says for evening emh, it stays open 3 hours past closing? Is that true? If a park closes at 9pm, it will stay open until midnight? Or did I read something wrong?

When MGM was scheduled to close at 10, I did the EMH and was there until after 1am and was on the last boat out to the Boardwalk. So if MGM is scheduled to close at nine, you can get an armband and ride until midnight.

Does everyone who is staying for evening EMH need wristbands? Where and when do you get them?

EMH(extra magic hours) are for guests who are staying at a disney resort. They start giving out wrist bands at designated areas within the park 2 hours before the official closing time. You must show one room id card for each member in your party that wants a band. If you do not have a wrist band and it is a emh night then they you will not be permitted on any of the rides.

Over President's Day weekend and Easter, MK was open until midnight and EMH was until 3:00am! If you look back, you will find some posts on it.
