Don't know if y'all are interested but

Yeah, us tattoo wearing, smoking, butt cheek showing, alcoholic trash can't find our way around a computer, so we must be stuck on the Universal boards with no way out :rotfl:

Uh Oh, we have been reprimanded

Now, that would be a tag I would be proud of!

What is the difference between those on the disney board flaming/trashing USO, and those here on the USO board doing the same to disney?
Seems pretty hypocritical to me.

Link please?

Another US/IOA bashing thread has bit the dust and has been closed. I find it odd that when questioning the "facts" we were accused of piling on but the OP did not return to defend the supposed facts. Maybe we were just too nasty.

My employer (the Devil) blocked photos on my computer. Did she post one of the girl in the JPRA line?

I don't understand the competitiveness that exists between fans of Disney and UO. Both resorts are great and offer quality experiences. We're lucky to have both of them to enjoy.

I only saw a photo of booty hanging out taken in Epcot. Maybe that's the photo that was blocked?

It is interesting that the OP and a few others can absolutely slam Universal and then those who defend the parks are supposedly the bad guys. All I want is the facts and I've seen the facts enough to know that the OP was way off.

I see they closed that thread now. Cracks me up. Disney HAS to offer free dining in August. They have to find a way to get people there because the heat is so bad and there is NO FOTL passes. So they have to give away their food so people will come. Not to mention I have a friend that just went to Disney and PAID for the dining package. It is NOT what it is cracked up to be. If she wanted to eat at certain places she had to use 2 or 3 vouchers for a sit down dinner instead of 1. It is very expensive and like she said...it is theme park food which we all know is at best mediocre.

Amen.

apparently we're all now "uniphiles"

Geez, do you even know what the word means? It's a GOOD thing, for cryin out loud! You're getting yourself worked up over being called a Universal Lover!

 so if all who luv Universal are Uniphiles

Those who don't are Uniphobes?
:rotfl: :lmao:

Good job everyone. Ain't nobody (except us) gonna pick on our Universal!!!

We've corrected the OP of the offending thread so we have to be prepared to be corrected when we make errors - the maximum # of credits used in WDW's dining plan is 2 for either signature restaurants or dinner shows. As much as I enjoy US/IOA - I really wish that they had a comparable plan because I'm not a huge fan of the existing meal deal. Doesn't anyone else wonder why the best counterservice restaurants and meals are excluded from the plan?

Because the plan doesn't cost enough?

I have no problem with people not liking Universal. It obviously isn't suitable for everyone. However, the poster's problems were really very minor but made to seem very major.

She didn't like something about the parking, the music, the crowd, someone's shorts, the chicken and the night-time crowd. That really isn't enough for me to skip a park. Heck, we're going back to Six Flags Magic Mountain this summer for the third time, all the way from Toronto, Ontario just to ride their new flyer. To heck with the crowd!!!

Well, this may explain her disappointment. Here is a thread she posted with her schedule. As you can see, she is already disappointed that she is only getting one day in WDW. Perhaps she was just venting her disappointment and Universal ended up as the scapegoat.

The only thing I don't understand is that in her OP, she said they only used 2 days of the 7 day Universal pass. Well, according to her schedule, before today, that was all that was planned. Maybe I misinterpreted her post, but I interpreted it as they found Universal so nasty that they were going to scrap the rest of the days.

Oh well, I can understand being disappointed. My family would be too if we went to Orlando and only scheduled one day at Universal :teeth:

Crowd levels for next week??

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Does anyone know the crowd levels for May the 13th through the 19th?
We went in early May of 2005 and it was perfect.
We are planning a last minute trip to do things a little differently this time.
Are schools out yet in Florida and other states? We homeschool so not sure about the end of school year info. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Monday-Universal
Tuesday-Magic Kingdom for my birthday
Wednesday-Universal
Thursday-Sea World
Friday-Universal

I'm affriad I'll be disappointed that we're not at the world all week but atleast I get Tuesday at MK.

Off to shorten my shorts, get a tat, pick up smoking, pour myself a beer and put Godsmack on. Gotta work on blending in with my fellow trash at my favorite place in the world.

Now we're getting OT, but the meal deal is my pet peeve about US/IOA. I really wish that they would relook their program so that it involved more restaurants (maybe even the resorts) and more menu selection. I would gladly spend more if the plan better resembled Disney's.

I don't think any of us took exception to anyone not liking US/IOA but did not appreciate when the OP of the offending thread based their judgements on generalizations and misinformation - that is why I feel we must avoid the same errors.

I agree about the meal plan. If it included one nice sit down, I'd probably go for it. I wouldn't get my money out of it, the way it is now but maybe that is the reason behind it

Goofy you are dangerous with your research - we've got to keep you on our team otherwise who knows what past posts will come back to haunt us.

It is amazing how quickly you can find stuff in Google just typing in a screen name + disboards. Add in the flu yesterday, laying in bed, bored and with my laptop - makes for a very dangerous combination :surfweb:

Did you know she is a fan of Girls Next Door, the show that has Hugh Hefner's girlfriends on it? Or at least she was asking if anybody had ever seen Holly Madison at the World, as Holly is always saying on the show that she loves Disney. She may be closer to our trashy standards than she realizes :happytv:

If it wasn't for the Universal bashing, I might actually like her ;)
